To start, the 9040 autocannon is awful. Pen is good, postpen is great, VT is great, but the reload is hilariously bad. A 40mm bofors can constantly load twin guns for nearly continuous fire rate. After your 40mm is empty you have 7s before your first round is loaded, then 4s for the next and 3s after that. Many mbts can reload faster than you firing your last round.
Then the atgm. No vertical drive despite having a motor literally modeled for that purpose means you are shooting into the ground or into the air and losing tracking 1/2 your shots. Its also mounted WAY above your turret but has no ability to use the roof optics (LITERALLY MODELED already for the gunner). It gets blown up constantly and disables your main gun and often kills your gunner. ATGM has about a 1/3 chance to kill with perfect placement in my experience. with all the classic problems of top attack (your opponent can just hide behind a destroyed tank).
Your stab disables at 25kph for the main gun and the atgm stows like the bradley, which are huge disadvantages.
Meanwhile the BMP-2m sits at the same br, the 2s38 sits up one BR, and the bagel sits 2 brs down. All of which are more effective.
Its really about time this vehicle gets some of the things already modeled to it. Its not like its a new vehicle, but it still has all these problems. I can’t even call them bugs because they are obviously intentional.
