[Event] Play in the KV-7 vs KV-7 Event and Earn Tickets To Have a Chance of Winning the IS-7 During Our Anniversary Stream!

How does this relate to wanting Oceania servers to make this event playable? I’ve little care to buy it, I simply want the game mode to be playable.

Here is a link to the full list of player IDs and ticket IDs. It will be removed after two weeks.

You can look up your ID in the list by first finding it on your profile page and then searching the file for it — all your tickets with corresponding IDs are in it.

tldr, 45,084 player ids, with a total of 345,698 tickets.

chance of a IS-7, with 1 ticket, 28,805:1… With 15, 1920:1

13,116 players ground this out to 15 tickets

Seeing this makes me glad I got a single ticket before my motivation hit zero and I walked away.

I have both a not zero and yet a zero percent chance of winning

I checked the list and all of my tickets arent even on the list for the IS-7… you cant find this ticket on the list.

Yeah, there’s a big gap between listed ticket numbers there: 5112708133 and 5112717326, which are otherwise fairly sequential. And that ticket is right in the middle of it. Could be an issue with the contest, or just with this list.

ugh, I hate seeing people trying to use their ping as an excuse in this game. It’s not counter strike, chief. I live in Australia - I have 120 ping in SEA server, 210-220 ping in US server. Event was no issue (apart from being forced to play arcade), I prefer playing on the US server at all times - ping is not an issue. I first played this game back in 2012, and I’ve never ever felt like my ping was ever letting me down. Anyway, we’ve had plenty of games open servers in Australia and they’ve gone and failed because we just don’t have that many gamers here, let alone ones playing this game. People living in Oceania should have good routing to Japan if they’ve selected a good ISP, that includes those in Aus/NZ. Don’t cheap out on ISP. Email yours if you’re having issues. I’ve worked with mine (Launtel) to get my ping down (with some other ISP, my ping got has high as 270-280 to US, and a simple change of ISP and them caring about international routing shaved off 60-70 ms ping just like that - without Gaijin having to do anything).

I calculated my own probability of winning one, which is above 0.05%

I have 15 tickets, and has a chance among 345698 tickets. so;
15 / 345698 ≈ 0.00004339 (win chance for one draw)
0.00004339 * 12 ≈ 0,00052068 (win chance for 12 draw)
to get percentage, multiply by 100
0,00052068 * 100 ≈ 0.052%

Yeah hope thaty 0.002% helps you win.

it’s waaay higher than obtaining from crates 😁
EDIT:
besides, they’ll draw 12 people that doesn’t have IS-7, which I believe there’s a few people in the draw that has already IS-7, so the chance is much higher than that 0.052%

Rather just park your paycheck or monthly Gaijin Rent on the market for a higher chance, lol.

It’s not though.

IS-7 has been offered each summer for the last three years as an SL lootcrate item. Leaving aside it’s the much more valuable coupon than on-account, the quoted rarity on a given draw was “0.001%”

That would equate to a 100,000:1 draw chance for each 60K SL buyin.

This event has roughly a 2000:1 draw chance (1920:1 to be exact) if you ground to all 15 coupons (28,800:1 for a single coupon).

So for the effort of grinding to 15 coupons, you have the same chance as everyone has every year (for the superior form of the prize, with a very broad number of subordinate prizes, as well) if they spend at least 3 million SL on lootcrates. The equivalent price of one ticket in this draw is by extension <200,000 SL.

If we factor in all the other possible winnings in those SL lootboxes (all the other vehicles, coupons, and consumables), let’s say the IS-7 chance is still 10% of the total value of that lootbox. That brings down the price-equivalent of grinding out an IS-7 coupon to ~20,000 SL, going into today’s draw (after today they’re worthless).

For the 1919 out of every 1920 people who tried hard for this and will get nothing today, they’d have been better off just making SL last weekend however they prefer to do it and saving it for the lootboxes next summer.

That doesn’t change the odds. They’ve already said those people will get alternative prizes if they win.

No coupon - no interest.

Exactly. Box aren’t reliable way to get the IS-7, but much more reliable than whatever this is.

This is by far the worst event gajin has ever done

There should atleast be a Coupon imho.

Coupon to resell if you already have it, thats why i’ve not bothered to getting it

That’s still useless.

First of all, this event requires grinding 75k score in a terrible gamemode, so there should be a guaranteed reward here on top of the chance for IS-7. It could easly be random rank 1-2 event vehicle or at least a bunch of decals and decorations.

Besides that if IS-7 is not given away as a coupon and won’t kill the marketplace, you can easly give away more of them. Spreading 50-100 IS-7s among community of hundreds of thousands of players won’t damage collector value of this vehicle.

Gaijin just wanted to test whether players are stupid enough to grind for 3 days straight just to get a mere 0.05% chance of getting something. I hope that players ignored this event enough for gaijin to never think about anything like that again

Over 45,000 people tried it to at least one coupon anyway, so it’s safe to say you have your answer on that already. I wouldn’t be surprised if that was more than they expected.
