You do realize that some players just want to have fun playing the game?
I know you can abuse rockets into bases in Sim mode, but doing it for hours is not considered fun for most players.
I wouldn’t say that someone who isn’t willing to take advantage of the game’s problems to complete an event in a reasonable amount of time is “doing something wrong.”
There is also a high chance this method will be ‘fixed’ in the future (by lowering the score you can get for damaging bases with rockets), and you will be forced to play the event the way it was actually designed.

Your math has you averaging about 10K points every 5 minutes.
You’re good at the game, but short of figuring out time travel (and utilizing it to unlock content in a video game), you’re not that good.

yes with a f111 aardvark :) with this thing you´ll get around 2400 points x3 x1,2 every 5-6 Minutes
That person then has no right to complain if he is not willing to do what is necessary.
And come on… Even if he played 4h in ARB daily, that’s plenty of time to finish with surplus of score.
For me for example, ARB became extremely unfun when they changed it to 16v16. So it’s preferable for me to spend 8 hours playing SIM and watch youtube in PiP mode, than 40 hours sweating in a 16v16 third party random flustercluck.
I honestly hope so, I truly do. But before they fix it, I hope they fix ARB first because that mode right now is just truly horrible and by the looks of it, they are keeping 16v16 for FOX3 missiles as well.
IMO it should just be a flat reward per kg of TNT damage, nothing more, nothing less and player kill rewards should tripple in score.

Yes, I am doing something wrong:
- I don’t have an F-111 so I can’t use it to spam hundreds of rockets into bases. My most advanced aircraft so far are the F3H-2 Demon and the F4D-1 Skyray, neither of which have yet achieved their first upgrade modification so no air-to-ground ordnance. I am currently working on getting the F8U-2 Crusader (providing Gaijin doesn’t steal it from me for 150 days like they did with my F9F-8 Cougar).
- I don’t play Sim mode because all I do is die and don’t get any points whatsoever.
Best aircraft I have fully upgraded are the American F-80A-5, the Swedish J21RA, and the Israeli M.D.450B Ouragan. The Ouragan can only carry a single pair of 1,000-lb bombs OR 16 rockets. The J21RA ONLY has its guns. The F-80A-5 can carry a single pair of 1,000-lb bombs OR only 8 rockets.
So next time you want to talk about how EASY (?!?!!?!?!) this event is, how about considering those of us who won’t have your capabilities for AT LEAST 2 YEARS!!!

I also sucked bad at ASB. Like very bad. Just give it time and keep trying. You can do it. Buy a webcam and setup open track (free SW). You can play with M+k or with a joystick. I use Thrustmaster T16000M, which is adequate for WT ASB and won’t ruin you financially.
That honestly sounds like a (YOU) problem. If you have the F9F, you also have the F2H which is god in ARB. If you have F-80, you also have the P-51H which farms Junkers 288 easily.
You say you are retired, don’t you have 35 bucks to drop for F-5C or F-4S during the sales? However, if you are completely free to play, then the only one you can blame is yourself and have no right complaining.
“No right to complain”… Honestly, get over yourself, dude. The guy has as much right to complain on a game forum, one put up for people to complain about the game on, as anyone else here. You said yourself you couldn’t have done this event either without the sim mode rocket exploit. So you weren’t willing to “do what is necessary” either, in any real sense, you just took an easy way out, one that’s open to you for the moment.
If the two sides to the debate are, “this is too hard”, and “no, it is only too hard IF you don’t use exploits/buy a premium/whatever” hey, maybe then the event as designed IS actually a little too hard and everyone could have a little more fun and free time if it was a little less hard. Just an idea.
Your offering advice to other players, which I see you finally got around to after half a dozen posts, cost you nothing here, helpful advice to other players never does, but your tone throughout has been just immature… You’re not the speech police, your opinion on who has earned the right to talk on this forum is entirely weightless, and people here really should just ignore you every time you try to dictate to us on that. Let the guy be frustrated if he wants, what does it cost you?

I did it just through honest grind in air AB, first with my preferred tier 3-4 US 4.0 lineup, it’s quite doable but I wanted to try higher BR, so I started playing a lineup around a downtiered F-105D, basebombing from space, until I researched the entire US air tree.
Switched to downtiered Tornado IDS MFG, mostly bombing from space again, until I researched the entire german air tree.
Last I switched to Britain, downtiered Sea Harrier FRS.1, not quite as good for base bombing, but 4 all aspect missiles are quite handy, along with the tech tree Sea Harrier and a couple of Jaguars, one plane left in the british air tree.
I don’t like playing nations where I don’t have any vehicle to research.
Also with playing a lot tier 7-8 planes I got the coupon before I got my 7th star, only got the 8th star today because I do work a full-time job, though with good hours that leave me plenty spare time.
And I strictly stick to air AB because it’s just what I play and enjoy, I find air RB quite boring and usually can make quite more score in AB, just through in-air reload and more opponents (and I barely ever even tried sim).
Also if anybody was about to check my air AB stats, last month’s performance is skewed, because I quit a lot of games for various BP challenge and task-related reasons without even spawning in at all.
I’d like to see him do that for the next event…
tbh im just hoping they just remove sim, is not fun at all and filled with abusers.
Naval is generally the fastest, for comparison when I do 20k score for pages of history I need usually around 10 games depending on the vehicles I have to use, when I can use naval that goes down to 4-5 games, thanks to the multipliers for naval.
haha excuse you, sim is the only game mode i play and enjoy. They just need to fix it so it cant be abused which is all too easy. Lets be real.

I just got the 9th mark of distinction for the sword of justice event believing that I would be receiving both the unique camo AND 4 random mods as stated in the reward for completion. However, instead of receiving both of the promised rewards it only gave me a loot box where I could only receive one of them. This has to be some sort of bug because the 9th prize clearly states that there will be a unique camouflage AND 4 random modifications. Not a unique camouflage OR 4 random modifications. I do hope this is a simple mistake and will be fixed promptly.

All the reason more for Gaijin to burn out dedicated players.
I took the Jaguar IS for myself and got the camo and four modifications alright on my 9th star, swapped the coupon for 1800 wb (that’s quite a lot but still quite little for the effort I find).
As far as burnout goes:
Make the conversion coupon grindable in all modes (with their multipliers).
