new french round
‘‘We have thoroughly tested the SHARD under this aspect, and as it is a pulled projectile in the barrel it is less sensible at the muzzle, it can accommodate more defects and disturbances, so during trials we reached an accuracy close to 0.2 mil at 1,500 meters, which is a good result considering the increased length of the penetrator, a better performance compared to our previous F1 round,” Mr. Cahauveau states.’’

well shard isnt exactly new
Better question is if there is anything about DM83 / KE2020 NEO
update. security as confiscated my sd cards…
That projectile mass has to be including the sabot id think. 1790m/s is freaking hot for a 7.3kg projectile. DM53 is 1750m/s and its only 5kg. Could be the penetrator weight though and new propellants are just that much better.
Wat. Why? Whats the point of a public expo if you cant take pics???
it still is an arms expo lol, can have multiple reasons
Like people that shouldnt be photographed as well
my buddy who went yesterday however still has his pics tho. so ill ask him for his pics instead.
guess nexter didnt like that i made a few pics of their new leclerc
i made a lot of detail shots. that was the issue
whats the chances you get them back?

Has there been a been a hull produced for the Boxer with MooG’s RwIP turret integrated, as shown / mentioned on page 3 of the following Document?
https://www.moog.com/content/dam/moog/literature/sdg/defense/moog-reconfigurable-integrated-weapons-platform-datasheet.pdf#page=3
ehhh, how is that supposed to work. The boxer is a modular vehicle, it doesnt get hull changes. Everything else gets adapted to be put onto it
Yeah, they don’t like that. Especially if you spend a long time on the stand taking dozens of photos and seem like an interrupting presence to the flow of other visitors there for business and journalism.
I’d say just take a few overview shots from different angles, and if there’s an interesting feature you want more details on that you can’t photograph naturally from the show floor - put on your journalist persona and ask the rep about those specific parts and snap them like you’re going to include that detail in an article.
Espionage is definitely a thing companies are concerned about at these events. I remember a fairly large group of East-Asian photographers being ejected from DSEI years ago for crawling under several vehicles to take photos of suspension etc. and generally behaving in a way that some of the attendees felt was unprofessional for an event that’s supposed to be for industry professionals.
For at least the following couple of years, some of the displays were actually made in such a way that there were obstacles preventing people from doing such things - placards in front and behind the vehicle, walkways raised around the vehicle etc. 😆
Anyway. I appreciate you getting photos of some cool things.

I was wondering if it had been a physically documented configuration mocked up at some point, as said document seems to be the only indication that it had even been considered, and there is some difference between paper project and one that got mocked up, with a example turret configuration.
As it would share commonality between itself and the Sgt.Stout (M-SHORAD Increment I, and Increment III) so could be a useful addition, as a half step to something with the Skyranger turret, after the already implemented Ocelot / Wiesel 1A2, or SANTAL, depending on the configuration since there is a large number of potential armament permutations due to the large number of different modules that could be selected.
You must be unlucky then. I’ve taken 360 shots of all French tanks no issues

He’s making things up IMO. Unless you crawl right on top of the tanks or disturb other persons around, there’s no reason of that happening.
