ROSY VL, the new vertical launch ROSY obscurant smoke system, one layer of the Top Attack Protection System (TAPS). Develoepd from their prior vertical launch ROSY, ROSY-NYX. Creates a multi spectral screen above the vehicle (up to c.30m) to prevent lock on or manual guidance.
No, it’s one with a completely unscrewed turret
What’s the difference? Looks pretty identical to any Leopard 2.
Visually mostly just the bigger exhaust mufflers iirc. Lots of smaller internal changes through
All the crew sits in the hull, 4 of them. I guess armor layout would also be significantly different
Update the original photos?
I guess those wouldn’t really be relevant to war thunder…
Neat, unmanned turret SPAA.
Thing got a 140mm main battle tank cannon, that’s not SPAA category at all lol
I was only really talking about the Leopard Skyranger thing. It would fit into current WT, unlike a very new 140mm MBT. I realize now I could have worded it better, but I’m tired.
Skyranger isnt unmanned.
But yeah the skyranger systems could be implemented now without much problems.
They are similar to the otomatic.
And wr are getting working ahead in the next patch. Just gotta remember its a close air denial spaa.
It wont do much against long range missle slingers
I saw that, really excited that the PUMA might be worth playing. And yes, I know it won’t be a top tier SPAA, but given that AHEAD has a similar effect to HE-VT, maybe a 9.0-10.0? I’d certainly trust this more than having to directly hit a plane with 35mm KDAs or crappy Stingers.
Its more limited compared to he vt, since its effect is one directional
The skyranger comes wth stimgers better radae etc and is a better gepard 1a2. It can take ful apfsds belts as well.
Would guess its br rank at 10.7-11.0
Still far better than having to hit a plane directly.
dont know if said before but i read that kf51u has a unmanned turret?
Still a manned turret
It is an uncrewed turret, “Concept Uncrewed Turret(CUT)” is basically the idea. If we are talking about the KF51-U
Oh yeah my bad, my initial sources didnt include it
