Eurofighter vs Rafale battlefield

Because even with AESA, the Rafale will still beat it because of the fictional additions, they should just own up and rename it to F4

AESA typhoon is just as fictional tho.

That I agree with, but it wouldn’t fit some people’s narrative that the rafale is unfairly over performing compared to IRL capabilities.

Qatar do operate a Typhoon with AESA

Quatar is not a nation represented in game - at least when it comes to the typhoons.

Unless they pull South African Gripen move or like pulling Saudi Arabian Lightning lol. Who would’ve thought.

But anyways, as long there’s no FM Changes, and probably no dual rack AMRAAM for Typhoon, or anything to buff Typhoon Avionics (especially BOL). I think nothing would change much for Typhoon, it’s like F-15C Golden Eagle Mk.2.

Typhoon is pretty mid compared to Rafale, but it’s also the best against anything other than Rafale, and yet you lack something that would make Typhoon better.

Like there’s already:

  1. J-11B sitting at lower BR, have a MAW, and yet have more missile count, not counting this aircraft would receive PL-15 too if the “Educated Guess” were true.
  2. There’s F-15C Golden Eagle, although it’s also mid, the least thing Golden Eagle have better is more BOL Pod compared to Typhoon.

I try to play Typhoon by forcing the airframe always get to the VnE Limit, but the problem comes when you try to notch Fox 3 at closer range, due to how stupidly nerfed BOL, it’s borderline useless unless you dump very much, and it’s literally useless when MICA comes closer.

Yeah AESA alone will have little to no effect on closing the gap, what we need in AIM-120C buffs and more of them + the AESA

The F3-R is compatible with everything it gets in-game, and the EFT is compatible with the AESA. They have the same level of validity

Difference is that the Rafale has had that standard for the last year uncontested, and it’s only a problem when the EFT might come 10% closer to balance

The Rafale obviously got more love than the EFT, but both of them are still op for the rest of jets so I’m more bothered about others nations not having anything equivalent

Especially with only Britain will get AESA Typhoon, and Germany still haven’t sign of Typhoon with IRST or something.

Germany may or may not already field AESA.
There was some comunication wich was hinting at it but not conclusive.

Tranche 4 is going to be delivered this year or start next year iirc so there’s about a 0% chance that Captor E wasn’t tested until now

Theres also the possibility this isnt an ECRS Typhoon. Could be earlier test variants for each nations with either CEASAR or ECRS Mk0, etc… not that I think there will be any difference between ECRS variants ingame besides ECRS Mk1 on the German EFTs having reduced gimbals, once again continuing the tradition of the germans getting shafted.

Hensoldt is to blame this time tho, for making it easy for gaijin to shaft Germany without any solid argument against doing so.

IRL ef can only pull 9g btw

Up to 12G in emergencies.

Beat me to it, was gonna post it and say “someone forgot to tell the designers I guess” xD

Of note, that is 1G more pull than the Rafale can pull irl, despite the fact the Rafale can and will pull more G’s ingame than the EFT…

It is technically limited to 9G said a Pilot in an interview. shortly after minute 29

In regular operation yes, hence emergency. Like the same way Gripen has an emergency override.

So if you don´t toggle the AOE limiter it should be 9g, right?
