Let’s clarify something, it was never my intention to lobby you to support the thread. Whether or not you’d support the thread would have little consequences on the impact of the thread, and if you argue otherwise, I would point you to my comment in our DMs where I stated the MICA didn’t really need a buff at that point in time, why would I say this if the intention was to change your mind and claim MICA is suffering?
At this point in time though, it is reasonable to conclude we are getting close to the next stage of missiles (AAM-4B, PL-12A) where it is reasonable also to see fixed MICA before going any further (AIM-120D, R-77M).
On release the Mirage 2000C was pretty rough, the earliest you might call French top BR air being strong was when MICA was introduced on Mirage 2000-5F. Before that it was just a spicy F-16 with less missiles.
I had to practically drag you kicking and screaming to acknowledge that your initial assumption about the Aim-120C was entirely wrong. It wasn’t until I had made a video and thoroughly tested what a nothingburger the Aim-120C was on the dev server that you reluctantly agreed with me.
And then you dropped the fact on me that the arguments that you make on the forums are essentially done in bad faith.
This is literally you saying that you act unreasonable on purpose because it suits you and it’s basically your way of gaming what you perceive to be the feedback system.
The Mirage 2000 was introduced prior to the F-16 and the MiG-29. It was the strongest plane in the game when it was introduce with maybe the exception of a very well flown F-14A; and even then it was still more or less equal.
it was released a bit after the f14 and right before the 29/16, it was a fine f14 counterpart Imo. f14 slammed everything other than well flown 23mld/j7e (still beat them anyways). and before that 23mld was dominant
The ‘outlier’ in question has had absolute free reign over top tier for the last year almost, it is entirely preferential treatment, anyone arguing the opposite is in support of their blatantly OP toy staying that way for the foreseeable future
Time for the EFT to have some addressed no? Gaijin likes to dripfeed their EFT bugfixes over long preiods of time
A physicality superior seeker to other fox-3s, and the TVC providing ridiculous HOBS performance regardless of altitude or speed
If there wasn’t any preferential treatment, then the MICA would be diluted down to more tecb trees than just france and china, at some point we’ll see the greek MICA equipped stuff, and probably the indian derivatives too, but until now it’s OP due to exclusivity, as the things fighting Rafales/M2k are often simply inferior in close-medium aspects
I think the more fitting comparison would be the Italian one here. Germany has a much higher playrate which would result in more bad players like every major essentially.
The German and Italian Eurofighters have essentially identical stats in spite of mythical minor nation elitism. They also share the same matchmaker for the most part with Germany/Italy being opposite of France.
Certain countries are matched with certain others more often (very weirdly). I almost never have to fight Rafale using FGR.4 and am almost always against the other two eurofighter operators.
Considering this thread was created exclusively to get whining people out of the rafale thread to keep it a bit organized, I find statements like this hilarious.
I was specifically taking issue with you using HUD tint as an example of something which is difficult to fix and was also not fixed on the Rafale:
It was in fact fixed on the Rafale
It was in fact an easy fix (seeing as they managed to fix every other aircraft before the patch was released)
I was not commenting on wider allegations of bug fix bias.
There is a bit of nuance to that report, that you missed. That is actually the second bug report I made for roll stabilisation on Blue Vixen. The devs claimed to have fixed blue Vixen in patch notes (and closed the report I had made some months earlier) but the fix never actually appeared on live. So I questioned a tech mod about it and they said they would question the devs, but wanted a fresh report submitted, to show the fix never went live.
So in effect the Blue Vixen report was submitted months before your RDY report
