Eurofighter vs Rafale battlefield

Just wait till they add the Su-35 to Russia then we will see “sensor fusion”

No reason why it couldn’t.

If I remember right the maws is esa, unsure which type though. There’s a slideshow out there confirming it if I remember

At those sizes the difference between PESA and AESA is practically academic I imagine lol

Low k the su-35/s might have better sensor fusion due to the amount of systems it has (shares lots of commonality with su57, aesa l band iff interrogators, insane radar, similar maws coverage, irst and radar combined (although most planes with radar/irst should have this already in game) etc

There is an issue or something wiht it, so it cant be used for reports or something, But I dont really know either way, so could be wrong

Unfortunately Irbis-E would still be PESA

Much more powerful than captor e, and it still has some features of aesas that it would get in game because it’s an advanced pesa ( most pesas have a single transmit/receive modules while it is has multiple like an aesa which gives it access to stuff like guiding in multiple SARH missiles at once)

Yeah I mean it’s a brilliant radar but i doubt it would outperform, say, ECRS mk.2. Power is one thing but getting the data out of those returns as well as Captor-E is a matter of electronics I doubt the Su-35 has access to.

Where are you getting this stuff 😂

From the brochure and Sukhoi own website?

There are some brochures from Diehl talking about target aquisition for the IRIS-T via the planes MAWS but no idea if thats enough for Gaijin. Would be weird if that was only missile targeting

It depends on what filtering is done. It might be specifically tuned for small fast objects.

Either way, its not a form of Sensor fusion im currently fighting for. First things first, has to be Striker 1 being properly modeled or upgraded and fully modeled Striker II

Which part you want me to post lol. It has aesa iff intererogators, yes AESA

See my message from earlier though, it specifically mentions the ability to handle not fast objects (“sub-clutter velocities”).

I would definitely rather we get the whole IRST and HMD stuff together first though…

We could still be talking about a missile doing mach 0.8/0.9

So its tough to know

Im not sure why you’re so glued to the idea that power output is everything in a radar, nor why you keep randomly bringing up the Su-35 in a EFT vs Rafale thread

Also, pretty sure the power output figures for CAPTOR-E arent even public

Someone else mentioned su35 I had to clarify that ofc

Someone said that sensor fusion might come with the SU35, you turned that into a lecture about SU35 superiority that no one asked for

Fairs then I’ll shut up bout it. Just wanted to expand on it
