Eurofighter Typhoon (UK versions) - Technical data and discussion (Part 1)

normaly you dont refeer to yourself in 2nd or 3rd person in the english language

i dont think its that deep gonna be honest

Looks at all the buffs the Rafale and Su-30 has gotten

Looks at the last bug report fixed for the Typhoon 4 months ago

F-15EX will depend on how many missiles and what kind of missiles it will get
But AFAIK the radar antenna is fixed which is somewhat of a disadvantage
And the US variant apparently does not have MAW (no money I suppose)
Flight model same or worse than F-15E

Su-35 has a really good radar (±120 deg limit in azimuth), but it can carry a limited amount of very long range missiles (R-37M)
It has MAW, but flight model is gonna be “not great” …

An “F-22 (Early)” around the same BR as AESA Typhoon is plausible …

if you think gaijin has some grand conspiracy to artificially nerf the ef/britian in general/anything else really i can guarantee you that its actually just laziness.

To be fair, I do find it weird when they removed most of the lighting in the cockpit after the dev server has ended, and not being “bothered” to add the HUD tint yet. Yes these are minor things but I don’t see why it shouldn’t be fixed considering they’re accepted I’m pretty sure

If Gaijin was lazy, all 8 Tornados would have the exact same engine. They dont. Britain and Britain alone has a much much weaker engine in the Tornado Gr1 and the reason given is actually total nonsense

Even just things like the HUD tint, lots of aircraft got that fixed super quickly

yeah the reason is they put the engine in the plane and now dont feel like changing it

this type of thing is also not restricted to british vehicles

Yes I do find that strange

That explanation doesn’t explain why they gave it a different engine in the first place though, does it…

that assumes they have a reason

Well yes it was a conscious decision to give the Tornado GR.1 different engines to the other Tornados.

A bug report was submitted to have the engines changed to match the other Tornadoes and it was rejected, with the reason given being that the Devs had chosen to add the GR.1 with weaker engines.

Also a bug report to adjust the thrust of the Mk.101s to be more accurate (not only was it given weaker engines, those engines were underperforming) was accepted and actioned very quickly. So Gaijin clearly weren’t just being lazy as they had no problem adjusting the thrust of the engines, and could have just as easily changed the thrust to match the other Tornados. They clearly had a reason for wanting the GR.1 to have weaker engines.

Try harder next time.

and the reason given so far is to “create a feeling of progression going from the GR1 to GR4”

but all 3 Italian TT Tornados have the Mk103 and the difference between the IDS and IDS (1995) is about 1/10th the difference between the GR1 and GR4.

So yeah, it definetly doesnt make sense

su30 got buffs?

did i miss something?

It got things like the Tinted HUD and some changes to its radar right?

i think the game would be improved significantly if gaijin actually hated britian and put a 10% debuff on everything in the tree

Happy to report, they already do, our vehicles average 0.3 BR higher than everyone else

i wouldnt really call that a buff
and if we do that then i have wo tell you how nerfed the Su-30 3d model is

i mean the engine performances are like the exact same in game so it wouldnt really change anything anyways
