Just basing that off the Tornados or SHars.
Tornado took 18 months to get its placeholder FM partially fixed and for it to get chaff
SHar took 9 months to get radar/cockpit and 2.5 years to get a partial cockpit HUD. (heck FA2 took 6 months just to get its RWR)
I think we can assume Typhoon wont even be looked at again until the new year
well here is hoping for the PGM-500 hopefully they give us the PGM-500/3 because honestly 4 PGM-500s I think will honestly do better then 12 brimstones lol

I have no idea. Id assume maybe 6 on the remaining free hardpoints which might then be enough to confuse the radar picture enough for a PGM to sneak through
Thanks to being slow a hell, massive a smokey exhaust to easy in spotting. You can fully saturate Pantsir with Brimstone making it unable to defend.
I get folk place huge value on FnF, but its pretty wild to think 4x PGM-500’s would remotely rival 12 Brimstones…
its less will they do better and more you get the safety of FnF would allow typhoon to do what well every other top tier jet can do and launch FnF AGMs from a safe ish distance and then defend
Its the ability to engage and defend simutaneously. You cant with Brimstones as you have to sit within range of a Pantsir guiding the missile.
Id run 2x PGM-500 as part of my A2G kit whilst we have the Brimstone 1.
Should we get Brimstone 2 or GPS spear-3s then id run those instead.
Last time I fought a pantsir it intercepted all 6 brimstones I fired at it. So i’ve now changed my loadout from 6 brimstones and 8 PW4s to 12x brimstones and 4 PW4s. hopefully spamming 12 at a Pantsir will be enough to kill it
Right but that only works when the weapons can affect the intended target. In the case of max BR games those weapons are getting intercepted for zero value.
What’s the point of firing off hundreds in SP to watch most get intercepted. When with Brimstone you can bully SPAA using the map, SPI markers and LOAL SAL stuff?
I mean technically if you launch 9 they would run out of missiles so its a guaranteed kill that way…
Scout spawn from 20km away with TGP, place SPI marker, drop to tree level, fire at 14km, watch your impact timer, pop up in the last 5-10 seconds, turn on laser, win.

A lot harder than russian mains pressing space a few times to demolish half a team, or all SPAA facing them though isn’t it?
which is the primary issue right now EFT has to do all of this in the hope of getting kills meanwhile every other jet gets FnF weapons that while yes a pantsir will most likely intercept most of them I still more often then not see missiles get through and kill 2 to 3 people since most spaa players dont seem to care about missiles that arent going for them
this doesnt stop a pantsir from shooting down the brimstone so it still doesnt solve the issue lol
That is what I did. All 6 were shot down almost immediately.
I approached the area low, fired them off at about 10km from behind a hill and then popped up to lase the target, but all 6 Brimstones were shot down LONG before that point and I had to go back to hard defending.
So next time I will spam 12 at a single target. But if we had Brimstone 2s that travel at a speed greaster than a walking pace, it wouldnt be so easy for them to just be interecepted.
But when you have Su-30s able to fire 1 KH-38MT from beyond the range of any SPAA and get a guranteed kill. its rather unfair what the Typhoon has to do just to kill a single SPAA
1x Kill per sortie with 18 weapons is rather stupid
