The F-14 loses to an F-16 all of the time
The Typhoon was designed to be better than the F-16 in every metric
The F-14 loses to Typhoon even with AOA limits

not true actually in mock dogfight testing F14Bs dogged on F16s in a dogfight
Found another perspective. From the same magazine company, but this isn’t about Le Bourget 1999
And the sea harrier FRS1 beat the living hell out of the F5, F15 and F16.
Only chance I see of an F14 winning is being super aggressive and getting an early burst of canon fire off but it’s a gamble because after that, they are dead.
Fought one in a custom battle a little while ago and after the first pass, I owned the fight entirely, was just a tad miffed my Aim-9M decided that a cloud was a better target than the ABing F14, but canons work just as well.
did some quick testing and it seems to only do this at higher fuel loads, min fuel lines up with the calc
and besides this is around the margin of error that applies to everything
I would nonetheless use it for a tool for generalised comparison and take every result with a healthy pinch of salt
F14 gun kills F15 in BFM combat
F-14 historically speaking dogged on F15 when F15 rolled out
F-14 is good dogfighter but is hampered in game by its radar
F-14 is not better than eurofighter stands zero chance
cobra button is not a “I win button” unless it’s an su30. 99 percent of the time it just bleeds off all your speed
it allows you increased nose authority
Even on an Su-30 you go splosh and become a helicopter
just dont turn so hard only use it when you need extra AOA for gun/missile shots
Clip doesnt work, sometimes randomly (or at least i have yet to figure out the pattern) spoilering a video breaks it
I see, I’ll unspoiler it.
Quite funny montage xD
In full sim controls, su-30 is quite funny. you can’t get these types of shots in mouse controls
@Gunjob Are you aware of any progress on the EF HMD? I am still dreaming of an actual HMD IFF without being forced to use the Goldfish-M…
That is an oddly apt name for it.
