With Typhoons Radar be lucky if it detects a ship
In fact, the ground mode updates for the Captor-M were introduced in Block 3. Only Block 3 belongs to Tranche 2, which is the improved ground version of the Tranche 1 variants (Blocks 1, 2, 5, and 8)
but Gaijin has added some invented mix variant typhoon
The weirdest part is that CAPTOR-M had GMTI in its original dev server, but it was removed and never re-added…
Yeah, I assumed it was due to buggyness and them wanting to overhaul it before re-adding it/ adding it to anything else. But the Su-30 has GMTI so clearly that isn’t the case
Accuracy and reliability isn’t modeled in any aircraft system.
They are all 100% accurate 100% of the time.
Funny thing: If you look in the datamine you’ll find that groundsearch and groundtrack are… actually there. It’s in the files, it’s just disabled somewhere.
Not sure if this is the place to ask but has the EF’s radar been yk…fixed in this update? Also curious how the EF performs against the Rafale after the buff.

Yeah, I thought I was crazy when I tried the EF out, and it didn’t seem that stellar compared to the Rafale. I also thought the EF should perform better than the current FM, but I’m not too well-versed in its technical capabilities. Are there any historical buffs that could come to the EF?
I’ve been genuinely enjoying the Gripen more than the EF currently, which is a little shame, as the EF is my favorite jet fighter.
Loads. It actually had outstanding bug reports to buff both the STR and ITR as well as max speeds when they nerfed it. Its FM also seems rather buggy at the moment.
There is also a large number of buffs/missing features for all aspects of the aircraft from the radar and IRST to the loadout and even the cockpit features like HMD IFF.
There isnt a part of the Typhoon that isnt underperforming in some way
Ah that’s a shame. I’ll have to take a look at the bug reports and see what the EF is missing. What’s the buggy FM? Haven’t really heard anything about it.
In a hard sustained turn, the engine looses about 25% of its thrust and it takes around 10-15 seconds to recover.
In pretty much all other aircraft, the thrust lost is about 5-10% at most and returns instantly after the turn.
Huh, I guess it’s an artificial nerf from gaijin then. Interesting to know, ty!
Tell the engineers to tighten things up then
Gotta love the false flagging
Do you mind sending me the report, I dont really pay too much attention on them
Im not sure where the STR report is. But i think this is the ITR report

And why isn’t the director gunsight in the Typhoon’s HUD yet? Same as the Energy Cue Symbology
Ah, it’s all good thanks, I did find the STR also
