Can you prove to the snail that the real Typhoon has the ability to wear such a pylon? We didn’t succeed and there was more than one attempt.
We understand that Typhoon is missing two to four missiles, but, quoting one film, it is not what we know that is important, but what we can prove.
Ahh yes AMRAAM mounted to what looks like a Brimstone launcher which itself is then mounted on a MFRL.
As was discussed previously if you can provide photos of a real EFT carrying twin MRAAMs there or additional MRAAM’s on other pylons, we can make a report, otherwise its not happening.

And as we remember, Brimstones are installed on all pylons except the outer one. Oh wait…
But seriously, I came across information somewhere (but I can’t remember where) that on Typhoons 2018-2020+ it is possible to install air-to-air missiles on ALL pylons. But, as far as I remember, this is a technical possibility and it is not a fact that they will use it. Maybe somewhere at an air show
Problem with “peace-time deployments” or the “CAS deployments” they’ve seen to date.
Look at the FRS1. I seriously doubt it would have ever gotten the twin rails if it wasnt for the Falklands. Let alone the FA2 upgrades
There has been vague stuff from Eurofighter GmbH and BAE for awhile, but everything concrete and photographed are the S6+M4, S4+M4 and S2+M6 ( as well as the S4+M5 using just one twin SRAAM pylon).

What we really need is 4x ASRAAM, 5x METEORs and 12x Brimstone 3s.
That should give us a half decent A2A fit :P
I can’t wait for ASRAAM, I will likely run the S4+M5 generally. But short maps S6+M4 for sure.

I prefer long-range high-altitude combat, but with LOAL thermal missiles even I will switch to the S6M4. Even the AIM-9M, if they had LOAL, would fly far (800 m/s delta V is a respectable energy reserve) well… at least 15 kilometers when launched head-on. And if you remember that the superTEMP has about 800 delta V, then you could expect a distance of well over 20 km when launched at altitude head-on. And the ASRAAM has an expected delta V of well over 1000. So… 40km+ launch?)
We will have to estimate how much the missiles heat up from friction. Perhaps it will be possible to use the S6M4 with IR missiles as anti-missiles.
Still an outstanding bug report for the AIm-9Ms to get a much increased lock range.
If EFT’s end up in ukraine with extra air to air loads, Gaijins gonna hit us with “you arent allowed to provide pictures of an active war”, which has gotten quite a few of my posts removed already…

I think my missile load on the German EFT will depend on if the IRIS-T can be used as hard-kill APS alongside the DASS in-game or not. If it can’t, I’m most likely running 6M+2S, if they can, most likely running 6S+4M.
Granted thats if CAPTOR-M even becomes a viable radar in sim some day.
Our only hope is Turkey have a demonstrator with double meteor pylons.
