No, nothing in-game has an electronic scan combined with a mechanical gimbal. I am simply stating that Gaijin likely won’t model the electronic steering limits on a gimbal properly thus they will either ignore them or not model the additional gimbal at all. Likely the former.

No. F3 actually has a bugged Scan rate of 160 deg/s, but should only be 80 deg/s.
CAPTOR-M is due a buff from 65 deg/s to 70 deg/s due to data from the Blue VIxen, but im still of the personal opinion it should be higher than that and I do think that maybe they should buff it to more like 80 deg/s if data cant be found specifically for CAPTOR-M (I think 80 or so deg/s would “feel” better more than anything else).
The radar pedastal at the very least can be moved at 333 deg/s and whilst the scan rate wont be anywhere near that high. I think a “reasonable” scan rate could be picked anywhere between 70 deg/s and about 100 deg/s and it wouldnt be entirely unrealistic. Given what it faces, it wouldnt exactly be over strong either.

Most likely which ever nerfs the Typhoon. Is par the course for non- US/USSR nations
I don’t know any other aircraft with mechanically scanned AESA so I think this one will be limited to the Typhoon but historically Russia seemed to be hit by quite a few more “nerfs” intentionally than other nations but it’s still a mixed bag. A lot of pros and cons, hard to say without a comprehensive list of historical issues which one is better or worse.
I have managed to destroy SAMs just it takes a huge ammount of mental load to guide a brimstone defend from missiles and not get 3rd partied by another jet or another Sam.
It’s funny you mention Strela. Because using the Typhoon with Brimstones is guaranteed to bring you into the death sphere that is the Strela

Okay, so two aircraft then. I think the odds are high they just artificially buff it by not realizing the vertical limits depending on where the array is spun… simply because they love Swedish stuff.
How is it supposed to TWS for targets high above it if it is doing ground mode or simultaneously guiding towards targets below it?
It all depents how fast the swivel can turn. I have not seen any data bout it.

You should also use upscaled Missile Pack, it looks much better.
Im using Cyborg Tiger custom skin with upscaled missiles on my German EFT (even tho i have Tiger Skin in game) and it looks amazing.

Yeah these look great, a shame that there’s not many people making these.
Also a shame that they disappear from the weapon after it leaves the plane but they still look awesome.
