Rafale C F2 was tested with HMD. Was Typhoon F2 not tested as well?

The Mk.18 should have basically the same model as the Mk.13. it’s a bug.

There are several tickets about it already:

Gaijin seem to have forgotten they have a UK 1000lb Enhanced Paveway model, even though it was used as a placeholder for Paveway IV when the Tornado GR.4 was added. So we have two end-of line jets that should have 1000lb dual-mode GPS/INS+Laser guided Paveways, but don’t

Well, saves me from DMing you that they’ve been passed 🤣

Wdym by that?

the visor projection style. first aircraft to use a HMD with that projection, everything else before has been like a dedicated piece of glass and mostly only for one eye
but here its projecting the image into an optic which is reflecting it onto a mirror which is reflecting it onto the visor which then again is reflecting it into the pilot’s eyes

so first binocular HMD with that specific type of projection?

according to them, yes

Infinity collimation itself is not new, in fact has been used for quite some time to re-align independently stabilized tank sights with the line of sight of the gun bore without ever having to leave the vehicle.

See the muzzle reference sensor of M1A2 for example;

Integration into a helmet mounted display in that manner is pretty cool. The M1A2’s uses batteries but the M1A1’s used some radioactive material to power the light in the sensor… fun fact.
