I think you misunderstood me on that point, I “get” its their argument, I still think its a stupid argument. Its literally just a powerplay. If you actually intend for the bug report to be reflected in-game, it should not matter if other get to see your source or not. Deny them the ability to do so is pro-gaijin (helps them with information control and narrative forming) and is only done to satisfy a need for control on the part of the player. Its silly and childish.
Storm shadow would be nice.
Be a nice additions to the AASMs on the Rafale.
I can see 12x Missiles being too storng, but a real shame about the 4-6 fit
the 8x GPS bombs is gonna be nice for REDFOR in sim, its wholly unecessary for BLUFOR tho, you shouldnt be bothering with battlefield strikes if you have an F-15E worth half his salt in sim, since they can clear a battlefield alone in one run. You should instead be protecting them as they have limited air to air and awareness while doing their strike.
Oh man, we just kicked off big time over Grom 1, the inferno kicked off by adding that would be hideous
Pretty much it lmaoooo
In which case my apologies. I must admit I support the bit on bug reports and hiding sources on the basis that some of that may be paid material, but equally I think that provided the bug reporter has dealt with it sensibly, it shouldn’t matter. It also allows for outsiders to scrutinise bug reports fairly.
Agreed.
Dunno. While noting the need for balance, if we’re gonna go “unbalanced”, we may as well go full tilt and kick it up to 14.0/14.3, and give the Eagle a proper run for its money.
Yeah. thats true, but just running it passively will be nice and shoudlnt compromise our A2A performance too much. But also the 12x Brimstones (especially if upgraded to the correct 2s and given prox fuse) could make a decent addition to our A2A loadout ;P
Way too much range on the maps we currently have, wholly unecessary. Id love GBU-50’s (2x 2000lbs + 2x 1000lbs will kill a base) but I cant find anything about the EFT with GBU-50’s, so the next GPS guided bomb in the 2000lbs class I know it CAN run is the GBU-31V1.
This limits how far it can strike a base (GBU-48’s glide much better than GBU-31V1) but its still much better than going to dumb bomb the base, which is the only way an EFT can currently kill a base without giving up AAM’s (10x Paveway IV’s will kill a base, but requires the loss of 2 AMRAAM’s)
At this point, Grom-1 should be added back since the french get their stupid AASM. Still dont know what gaijin was smoking when they decided to add that less than a week after saying air to ground strike aircrafts had gotten much too strong.
Thats another important bit, some sources can be worded weirdly and lead to incorrect understandings (either accidentally or on purpose) which can make unrealistic buffs/nerfs.
Unnecessary doesn’t stop me from wanting it 😾
At which point Storm Shadow might suddenly become a whole lot more palatable.
I don’t know, not a discussion I want to be part of (yet)
I mean, not much would change, look at the ASPRO HMT, they managed to misinterpret that even after doing an entire devblog on it and having feedback on that.
That entire dev comment in the GR4 thread is so funny.
“We cant add better A2G because its already too strong”
adds KH-38s and AASM
“Can’t” again?
It seems like yesterday your opinion was leaning from “can’t”, through “can’t go into supercruise on its own, but can sustain” and to “can, but ineffectively”
Hey, AASM is not even remotely as bullshit as Kh 38. Ours is slow and smol 😿
Rafale + 6x long ranged FnF missiles to me sounds like its gunna be a bit of a monster in GRB. Especially as you get hte best of both worlds with GPS + IOG + IR versions
Makes me wonder when Gaijin will give Brimstones at least basic F&F capability.
Yeah… 18x of those would be a tad OP, but even just Brimstone 2s on the Typhoon would be a notable upgrade and needed for historical accuracy
Long ranged if you’re inclined to wait 3 business days. The trail also makes them really obvious to shoot them down, or at least lock them on approach. We’ll see how it works out. Though you can also just point blank them, but they don’t turn good. Hopefully that gets fixed, then they’ll be quite unfair.
As a general rule of thumb, 5+ missiles fired at a PAntsir is too many for them to intercept. Which really screws the Tornado with only 3-4 PGMs
My best ground attackers were Russian, and my other options were tornadoes (you’ve highlighted the issue there), harriers (same issue), or Gripen (even worse issue)
