That’s what the data suggests, why would I go against it? Besides, in-game it doesn’t supercruise at all so there is a discrepancy. Why are you focused on my valid position change as I was shown information?

Oh god, just made a terrible realisation… Im gunna have to find or free-up a keybind for swapping between radar and IRST on my HOTAS. I dont think i’ve got any spare binds at the moment

Stick a numpad nearby, it’s the solution I resorted to.

Yeah ,easily done, but would prefer a bind on the HOTAS stick instead. I think i’ve got one for it.

Then you have the 6 wing pylon station units and the centre line station. At the moment only ADHERU (heavy weapon rack) are used for A/S weapons carriage or LDP carriage on the centre and inboard wing pylons as well as the centreline. The ALDERU light weapon rack is currently used on the outboard wing stations only, but I think they should fit on the centre and inboard pylons as well. The MFRL or Twin Missile Carrier is directly fitted to the ALDERU. The TMC is not cleared though, neither is the Twin Stores Carrier (TSC) for A/S weapons. There have been some 20 years old images or so showing DA7 with a BL-755 dummy load on TSCs fitted to the inboard stations.

why use ALDERUs on the Center and Inboard pylons when AHDERU can carry the same things?

This is a question for @Fluffy_Bucketles and @Morvran; do you guys think that the current flight model is mostly accurate on the dev server? Do you think the acceleration on afterburner is correct?

It is not correct because it doesn’t match the documentation I was provided by @Flame2512
Additionally, there is the lack of supercruise likely owing to the drag being too high… a consequence of the overperforming thrust.

Not spaded it yet, so not going to overly comment before that. What we do know.

It can climb to 36k ft from brakes off in 2.5 minutes on reheat. It is very fast.

But in game, It wing rips at too low low of an airspeed, which really hurts its ability at low alt and the dry heat is underperforming significantly. Also lacking in top speed.

Also PIRATE, Radar, RWR are all underperforming and even the fact it has a sooty exhaust is wrong.

And most of that is just what Flame has reported so far. let alone everyone else. I know a few have a lot of things they plan to report for it

Typhoon has a lot of Buffs left to come for it.

Anybody have info on detection ranges for Pirate? Currently it seems to be capped at 30 km, looking at the config file. Can anybody test it out on dev and tell me if you are able to lock anything past 30 km?

Seems the copy-pasted portions of the IRST code from Soviet radars, that still have the 30 km cap, even though it was “fixed” with the cap “removed”.

Oh, did anybody find out scan patterns and speeds of the radar?

@Flame2512 whats on the table of contents for bug reports? Anything specific we can try and dig around for in the depths of the web to potentially help reports. I’m hoping this isn’t another electric lightning bug report saga.

well, yeah, those are really cold. I am talking about a hard cap. Test it out by flying behind an afterburning jet.

It seems like it should be able to lock things from much further, but the game caps it

No it won’t. AFAIK the current F-15E should have the best thrust-to-weight ratio.

Should be a peak of 150km, working on it.

Its supposed to be 90 minimum 150 optimum.
