did some quick testing and it seems to only do this at higher fuel loads, min fuel lines up with the calc
and besides this is around the margin of error that applies to everything
I would nonetheless use it for a tool for generalised comparison and take every result with a healthy pinch of salt

cobra button is not a “I win button” unless it’s an su30. 99 percent of the time it just bleeds off all your speed
it allows you increased nose authority
Even on an Su-30 you go splosh and become a helicopter
just dont turn so hard only use it when you need extra AOA for gun/missile shots

Clip doesnt work, sometimes randomly (or at least i have yet to figure out the pattern) spoilering a video breaks it
I see, I’ll unspoiler it.
Quite funny montage xD
In full sim controls, su-30 is quite funny. you can’t get these types of shots in mouse controls
@Gunjob Are you aware of any progress on the EF HMD? I am still dreaming of an actual HMD IFF without being forced to use the Goldfish-M…
That is an oddly apt name for it.
Well, the most advanced mechanical “radar” isn’t really worth being called “radar”; the goldfish is more fitting.
What about cost and production number? 🤔
the radar is fine, it is by far the best mec scan radar in the game
Its not though, just straight up isn’t.
Id be hard pressed to even consider it an upgrade over Blue Vixen in the FA2/Gripens (and tempted to even go as far to consider it a downgrade to the Blue Vixen) and the Foxhunter in the Tornado ADVs completely destroys it.
Pretty much the only M-Scan radars it is better than at the moment are the soviet M-Scan radars and thats not difficult to do
I would say f-15 or f-16 radar has better tws patterns and thus a better radar
