There will be another missile derived of the rj-10 (mach 3-5 one) for sead for France.
AFAIK the subsonic one is called TP15 and the high supersonic one is called RJ10 in france, but yeah the SEAD missile should be based on a supersonic model (RJ10, as you said)
Very interesting program tbh, but i’m afraid we are going a bit off topic.
In any case, more sea strike capability for EFT / Tempest
Looks more like an aim174b or hypersonic missile equivelant.
The thing on the right appears to be a swarm/cluser munition dispenser.
Does ASRAAM have similar range/manueverability as R27ET?
Dramatically better manueverability. ASRAAM can do 360° engagement, R-27ET cannnot
Range is much higher on the R-27ET at 85km vs 50km on the ASRAAM but that is under optimal conditions like being up high
Also ASRAAM is far harder to defeat with countermeasures
This is a good page for comparing
360 RWR slaving?
With sensor fusion, DASS can provide data to ASRAAM/IRIS-T
To allow shots from 6 o’clock
So like around mach 1, sea level, r27et is good for like 10-15km shots, so ASRAAM probably like 7-12km shots
“Moreover, reaching 40 degrees AoA is not possible for a missile of such design, as Brimstone, as it doesn’t have neither big enough control surfaces nor thrust vectoring.”
Thanks for the opinion
I think the problem with the brimstone is the 7G placeholder that copy pasted from the hellfire missile.
So TLDR
Vikhrs cant do it therefore we dont understand how Brimstone can do it

It’s me or they just "marketing lies"d it?
Believe me defence contractors will find a way. There’s a reason being on time is already impressive and being early is practically unheard of
Welcome back btw
Anybody know where to find brimstone missile specs? Like G limit, max speed release, etc.
Data sheet says nothing but most unofficial sources put it at 10G-15G
Brimstone is limited to 7G’s atm
