Su30 has a different much better radar, I don’t see the point in this if the argument is that ef has the worst radar
The current Eurofighter radar certainly comes very close if it doesn’t hit the mark.
The one from last patch certainly was worse.
Would be a great theory if gaijin wasnt buffing the Rafale practically every chance they get despite it already being the best jet in-game before the latest major update where it received a ton of major buffs.
But isn’t the Rafale also underperforming, specially regarding the mica? Afaik the EFT just got hit a bit harder unfortunately
To be fair MICA already is the most dangerous missile in game.

Yes, but my point still stands. If they were keeping them nerfed for balance reasons, the Rafale would be the literal last jet in-game you’d expect to see get buffs, and it got more buffs than anything in-game this last major update.
The MICA’s also got a massive buff during the last major update btw, still dont have the range they should have (thank god) but now they have by FAR the best radar seeker of all the ARH’s.

sorry, didn’t read the message above properly but the captor M does lack behind compared to other 14.0 + it was only added 4ish months ago as well
It’s not a secret at this point tbh it’s probably one of the worst radars in top tier considering it should be competitive with, for example, Rafale, SU-30 etc
Well that sucks, I feel for you eurobros but unfortunately that’s how this company works, It took them 1 and half a year to improve the flanker fm which was based on t-10 documents even though ppl were massively reporting the issue back then…
every other mech scan in the game does the same (or worse), its not a EF specific issue and for what its worth the EF’s radar is not even particularly bad, its just poor radar modelling in general

First things first. Replace the Brimstone 1s it never used with Brimstone 2s which have 200% greater range and decent HOBS ability. Second, Give the Brimstone their FnF capabilities (of course quantity mitigation is needed, but that is another matter). It could then get Brimstone 3s and Spear-3s if it needed further buffs.
After that, its missing a number of GBU options such EGBU-24s and ePaveway IIs. Heck, Paveway IVs are underperforming at the moment as they lack their IRL Data-link.
After that you have weapons not currently modeled such as Storm Shadow and ALARM.

Yeah, definetly time to start looking to submit bug reports for the AMRAAM seeker, if they are no longer going to be identical to each other, then its time to see if the AMRAAM can be buffed

Then again, this is TWS+ being buggy. What everyone is experiencing now is what the CAPTOR-M has been experiencing since it was first added onto the dev server 3+ months ago and for the first month or so it was even worse still with less than half the radar power it has now (i would confidently say that intitial version of the CAPTOR-M was the weakest radar north of 12.0) So ontop of the TWS+ bugs everyone is experiencing, we have the underlying bugs and issues that have been plagueing the CAPTOR-M for months.
And thats ontop of the missing features like Priority track or the PIRATE intergration. Both of which would be considerable buffs to the aircraft and give us an AESA like qualtity
You cant use it in TWS Typhoon you need to switch to PD and cycle targets.
Is the radar on eurofighter that bad? If you keep in in narrow scan it works perfectly fine. Wide/medium feels off though, struggles to update, but it’s still perfectly usable.
stop the cap. If you can’t dodge Fox 3 with 12g on Typhoon. Dunno how the Su-30 with it 7g to 8g would.
