Huh. It looked about as big as the F-15 600 gallon tanks
God, the current Catcher m can be called unusable, and I haven’t spotted an enemy with TWS in Land Combat BR
Very nice and amusing you have to edit in the green glow from the hud in post production
Haha yeah, sadly since the HUD isn’t tinted to begin with I kinda struggle to make it look as green as it should, here’s an example of how it looks edited on the su30:
Awesome!
Was this quality achieved by the game itself, or was it post-processing in third-party programs?
The quality itself is from the game, I just smoothened the edges a bit in post production. As for the motion blur effect, since that isn’t achievable with the replay settings, I always end up relying on a 3rd party website :)
@Gunjob I wonder, did you heared anything you could share regarding the Missing GMTI mode for the Radar?
We fix the Typhoon by allowing the Radar to snap to the RWR threat or at least highlight it as a TWS track.
Because currently it sees nothing, it reacts so slow and you are food to any jet because that jet be it an F-4S or a Su-30 will find you long before you find them.
I’m fed up of dying to something when my RWR sees it but my Radar is stuck quiet quitting and just adding unnecessary weight.
With Typhoons Radar be lucky if it detects a ship
In fact, the ground mode updates for the Captor-M were introduced in Block 3. Only Block 3 belongs to Tranche 2, which is the improved ground version of the Tranche 1 variants (Blocks 1, 2, 5, and 8)
but Gaijin has added some invented mix variant typhoon
The weirdest part is that CAPTOR-M had GMTI in its original dev server, but it was removed and never re-added…
Yeah, I assumed it was due to buggyness and them wanting to overhaul it before re-adding it/ adding it to anything else. But the Su-30 has GMTI so clearly that isn’t the case
Accuracy and reliability isn’t modeled in any aircraft system.
They are all 100% accurate 100% of the time.
Funny thing: If you look in the datamine you’ll find that groundsearch and groundtrack are… actually there. It’s in the files, it’s just disabled somewhere.
