Weird, statshark didnt seem to have updated for me yet, still shows the Raf’s VNe as M1.78 atm.
Didnt even realized they ALSO nerfed the EFT’s acceleration. Lovely. Guess its gonna keep gathering dust in the corner for the foreseeable future.

!!!Suggestion to rename in-game EFT to EFSB - EuroFighter Slight Breeze
Only appears on the stats card. Doesn’t show on the radar scope. Both uk_captor_m and _pirate only have the new TWS method in their files.
Is it an issue with my environment that TWS+ is performing worse than TWS? Several players in the Japanese community have complained about the same problem.
@Smin1080p_WT Sorry to bother you, but would you please be able to take a look at this report:
The field of view of PIRATE IRST should be reduced from 64° x 40° to 10.66° x 8°: Community Bug Reporting System
Oh boy…
It’s ok to try to nerf the Rafale with sources that have no credibility, but not ok to nerf the Eurofighter with legitimate sources? :P
Dw, I’m not having a dig at you. I know you’re pretty neutral when it comes to these planes.
I was just concerned with upcoming reactions.
Thanks for noticing my neutral state, tho i love Rafale more than EFT despite bein Delta Canard enjoyer.
I’ll take some :)
We believe this is clear Marketing Lie
@Gunjob is this you?
How is this in any way a source that can be quantified?
The narrow FOV of 10.66° x 8° is used for both MTT and STT. Perhaps you should read the sources.
When you say FoV are you referring to the FoV when using the PIRATE in the targeting pod vew in game?
Or the size of the IRST search pattern?
STAIRS-C is the thermal imager for Starstreak. Where does it say specifically, the same imager is used in Eurofighter?
I would say it’s better to leave it as it is until TWS IRST can be implemented
You have two sensors, a Wide FOV sensor which is used for detection, and a narrow sensor which is used for tracking and detection.
Currently the IRST is a placeholder and it’s impossible to implement accurately.
Should be a 10.66° x 8° FOV scanning the entirety of the field of search which in and of itself should be no greater than 120° x 45°.
Ping me when there would be enough cope from frenchie, so I could have a laugh
Mulatu_Astatke get a job or focus on your lessons because youre here all the time MEIN GOTT
This will need a wider IRST update to implement.
Aka, not possible with the current IRST system which the code is copied from the Russian OEPS on the Su27 and Mig-29 which are only capable of search with no ranging and stt with ranging using a laser rangefinder.
Similar reports have been made for the Rafale’s OSF.
It is not expected for things to change tomorrow.
