That has been changed now;
MIG-15 is ID’d as “Jet”
Are there plans to have accurate RCS on aircraft? Seems like a great oversight that the Su-27/Su-30 should have a similiar RCS as an F-16
EFT Radar display;
Selected target size is displayed at the bottom with its label “A” in this instance.
Ahh, allright
Sad :(
Was an realy cool Feature
What does the 104 and 7.7 stand for? Angle and range?
Heading is the first figure for sure, unable to work out the other. Isn’t range as it doesn’t change as the targets merge.
Should be less of a hazzle to implement NCTI as you should be able to just tag a radar contact the moment your radar has a direct line of sight to the turbine blades (area has to be set for each type of plane differently because of the varying air inlets).
And what about SAR modes of some radars which create a high resolution SAR image of a target to compare it to planes (and vehicles when in ground mode) in its database? :D
Whats it look like on the cockpit MFD/HUD? I assume theres actual names displayed there?
Aww that blows
I think one of the CC’s said it was a unique identifier so tabs could be kept on a particular contact.
Cool stuff with the NCTR but i think they should make it so the longer you scan a target the clearer they become what it is, like a the flanker going from LARGE to FLANKER or whatever else.
So Priority Track?
That makes more sense, cheers.
No not at all, just that now you can maybe tell that the enemy is an f-16 small, f15 medium?, or a flanker large
It should be target altitude IIRC
Should have expected that tbh
