That’s very frustrating, I liked to have allies on in Sim so I didn’t have to use the HMD to see where they are, but cycling through EVERYONE takes too long and has gotten me killed a few times so I just have foe on now.
If you’re using a keyboard and mouse, you just need to think of it as clicking on targets directly on the radar screen. I’m not familiar with VR or gamepad controls, though.
Just because you have not noticed an issue, does not mean it doesn’t exist.
Previously, you could have both friend and foe displayed on the radar, I liked doing this in the EF for obvious reasons, and when cycling targets on TWS it only selected “Foes”. However, after a recent update, it now cycles through EVERY target, friend or foe regardless.
I play on controller so I’m reliant on key binds, sadly can’t point and click on the radar display.
Who the hell made this cos it got a chuckle out of me
actual daylight robbery btw
Can we ever see at least 10-12 AARAM Typhoon? cuz its not enough to handle the mission load.
Instructor wobble feels reduced on dev server after wingspan changes. Could be entirely placebo though. Don’t really get it a ton until I get all the way down to ~m.7 at 8km or so.
Aircraft FM changes: (by prae)
- Eurofighter (P1Ea) [DEU], Eurofighter (P3Ec) [DEU], F-2000A (P1Ea), F-2000A (P3Ec), Typhoon F.G.R. Mk. 4 (P1Ea), Typhoon F.G.R. Mk. 4 (P3Ec):
- wingspan from 11 to 10.95 m
After all I heard the Rafale has a tendency to flatspin now after its wingspan got increased by 900 mm (don’t know if that’s really the correct number as that seems rather big), so I would assume that for whatever reason the stability around the Z-Axis is directly connected to the wingspan in the simulation.
And for reasons nobody knows gaijin is unable to implement a reliable damping mechanism so the instructor and autopilot of missiles tend to overcorrect at differing flight regimes to the point it keeps oscillating more and more until loss of control.
Anyone tried to report tail height or something to that effect to buff the rudder?
Did some research: The effect should be the opposite. Increased wingspan should increase stability around the Z-Axis (not aerodynamically but through intertia) while reduced wingspan should have the opposite effect. On the other hand: With greater wingspan a flatspin becomes more difficult to stop, so it’s more diffcult to enter a flatsping but also more difficult to get out of it if you ever enter one.
In consequence, the Rafale shouldn’t have increased occurence of flatspins but reduced and the EF shouldn’t gain Z-Axis stability after a reduction of its wingspan. Something is definitely fishy here…
With delta-wing aircraft, I would expect increasing the wingspan to make the aircraft less stable. Wouldn’t that mean the aerodynamic center shifts aft? I would think that this would worsen its directional stability.
I’ve reported one, I hope people in this thread can find more evidence and upload it through the comments, i’ve added plenty of screenshots myself, hope they get accepted as evidence.

I’d personally prefer the EF2K gets A120Ds without the doubled up pylons to just more missiles. Higher pK combined with the 200 degree scan ought to do some work.
Wont work since its only a model.
We have plenty reports on an equivalent lvl then yours already declined
