Eurofighter Typhoon (UK versions) - Technical data and discussion (Part 3)

4 9M´s vs Notch, and just going straight in the EX

EX will totally not be an issue at all

9Ms are some of the easiest missiles to dodge, they literally just fly straight and don’t even track properly, Ron_23 already made a bug report about this issue, and it affects several missiles

thats the FOV IRCCM, not shut off

and in my experience 9M´s work well in side aspect

Exactly, that’s the issue

uhhh 9M´s arent affected…

and since they might receive a rework theyll be even better

unless there is also a reported issue with shut-off i dont know about

There are people on this forum been gaslighting the EF so hard thats so stretched out of the reality.

Idk what i was expecting but it certainly wasn’t that.

I heard ppl also removing yaw control in the setting, have anyone tried it?

Continuing the discussion from Eurofighter Typhoon (UK versions) - Technical data and discussion (Part 1):

Considering the new EX being capable to carry 16 missiles, can this be pushed once again as hope to balance out the the typhoons, because typhoons will be constantly facing the ex and sm2’s which have marginally more missiles than it does, its only fair if the typhoons get their 10 fox 3 loadouts or maybe even the beast mode configuartion.

They dont even have the order IRL, its a paper plane for israel which lacks an RWR as of now.

No the ia was ordered

Correct, my apologies, what I meant to say is, there’s only a order, the specs havent been fully decided iirc, and the order can still fall through at anytime, so it’s a little irrational to add the IA.

I think its worth pursuing soon enough as an addition. ASRAAM will help level the playing field too.

Find proof it can outside of a render and do a bug report alongside said render

@Gunjob I am wondering if there might be allready a Similar Report for the Eurofighter Internally

Sad to see we are not getting 120D, it is bad enough that we have limited payload but now totally outclassed by the F-15EX in BVR

EF2K still remains more survivable than the EX by a significant margin.

Typhoon has to notch multiple missiles before it can reliably hit back. Even then F-15EX can just shoot your missiles down.

16 missiles vs 10.

12 vs 8, more accurately. Nobody’s MCMing with AIM-9s. But yes, that’s what was implied by survivability.

Point remains they have 120D an aircraft that in game is faster and a brand new Radar.
Typhoon at high alt performs poorly, the instructor causes it to be crap. F-15 does not have that issue, F-15 will be higher and faster with deadlier BVR missiles.

Typhoon can notch faster, has a better Radar (we will see what the US one is like) has BOL countermeasures and has 8 120Cs inferior to the D model in BVR.

Typhoon already had a real issue with the Su-30SM2, F-15Ex is going to be played by a lot of people and that 120D spam is going to be something akin to F-14A day.
