The possible IR/EO seeker is AFAIK only for the SPEAR Glide.

And on the other hand: What good is >140 km cruise range if you can lase targets just 30 km away? It would be much more fun throwing these missiles to a GPS point on the map which they circle around (loiter) and the moment you laser a target they dive down like a swarm of birds :D

does MITL change between munitions or just the last one we drop?
Thats cracked for NE, unless their extra speed and flight profile makes them more likely than stormbreakers to be intercepted
Also of note, the SPEAR 3 has 2-way DL for midcourse retargetting, but its not an optical seeker, so I dont think it’ll have that feature in-game either…

yeah i was thinking you could do the same stuff done with JSOW/GBU-39 but in hindsight, those are usually dropped within 30km for targeting reasons as well iirc, what’s the point of having long range if you have literally no way to hit anything accurately at that range…
Now that there is the precedent of game-mode restricted weapons though, they could add MMW to Spear-3 and make them NE only I guess?

Just the last one dropped provided it is still in the air and the aircaft hasn’t lost the connection (by breaking LOS using terrain)

All they need is a 5 ISH meter search radius and you could fire them via a map poi or aiming points without much issue.
I really dont know why gaijins stance is nothing or can search the entire battlefield looking for targets and will not consider a compromise in the middle somewhere.
Though tpod lock range limits are really dumb

Su-30s will even struggle against this nonesense. In one update they have invalidated Typhoon, Rafale, Gripen whatever J thing China use with USA and Israel having the best jet on paper.
Man even if they add Meteor Typhoon will have 6 of them.
Limited to 12 ARH, and R-77-1 still the more meta missile. Maybe Su-30SM2 sidegrade.
Typhoon also gets 8 ARH for a while now

Better at normal combat ranges with time to target, and better close range. But GNSS can be helpful when lock is lost at long range. Su-30SM2 can make up for this with IRBIS scan zones though
