German T5s might, and I do stress might, have more powerful engines.
But I dont know if that is true or not.
But the buffs Im far more confident we could see in the future (both in-game and/or IRL)
- AMK
- LCM count increased from 32 to 150 (Though I dont know if it replaces the existing LCM dispensers or is in addition to it, so it might be 182)
- Striker II HMD
- Litening V Tpod
- EvoDASS (for better RWR, among other things)
etc etc
Should help keep the Typhoon going for a while yet. and thats without even mentioning loadout which is pitiful in-game currently

with the DECMU paving the way for it, whether its only on the T5´s or not is another thing

Yeah. Probably, the better question is whether we can argue technical compatability. Worked for the Rafale getting 8x MICA and HMD
atleast the DECMU-NG is already on the current airframes (and older ones as also backwards compatible), and considering its the EF it should be backwards compatible, the upgraded engines.

More load, integration of weapon families.
I am looking forward to fcaam the iris-t succesor as well, but thats gonna be further in the future

Yeah. I also wonder what other inter-operability weapons they are going to intergrate. Seems it was a BIG focus recently, we might get a load of interesting weapons that none of the EFT nations actually operate become options.
good example is the spice 250.
If one spice is integrated, spice variants are supposed to be possible.

Yeah, not a fan of the spice though, Having to use your airbrakes before you can fire an A2G weapon renders them basically DOA imo.
Im really hoping we see Spear Variants sooner rather than later. I still dont get why they havent been added yet. Some 0-drift GNSS Spear-3s would bea lot of fun

AMK does allow for heavier loads while retaining similar flight performance, but other question is if the engines will still deliever enough thrust under that load to retain the actual performance.
And the MTOW increase of the P3Ec really is making me hope we get a revival of the planned engines upgrades
I dont really see why not. Because anytime you need max engine power, you probably arent running the max weight warloads, and without AMK, the EFT handles fine with heavier warloads (like a load of PW4s) without much issue, and with the intro of weapons like Spear-3, which are just going to lighten the EFTs warload, then an engine upgrade probably isnt super needed straight away.
I think a big part of the German T5 EFTs role is gunna be SEAD and probably running things like Cruise missiles, which are inherrently very heavy, where better engines might be needed
But yeah, All shall fear EFT with AMK AND more powerful engines
what we need is ultimate phoon with TVC, uprated engines, AMK, EVODASS and ECRS+ whatever else LTE brings

that can be a risky path to take for adding features to aircraft
all the feature were tested and offered (par the uprated engines afaik), just didnt or havent gone anywhere yet… and technical compatibility is all that is needed :)
