Also, id love the Typhoon to have these glow in the dark strips.

Isn’t this supposed to be night light? Honestly I really wish Gaijin modelled night light, they can model the light without forcing the battle to be night tho. Rafale also had this.

I always thought it was glow in the dark lmfao.

Ive had it sometimes decide a tree was a more interesting target, but its difficult to replicate

Yes. Bug report has been submitted. Took quite a few different sources, but a reasonable picture has been built

There is good documentation, there isn’t public documentation to my knowledge :(

Yeah that’s the problem, like for common people searching up Beachin Betty (in case some fool would try to flag this) and people can find it very quickly in YouTube, but not for Naggin Nora.

That FOI has been requested for internal review, but RAF is dragging there feet with it

Oh lol I can remove it if you’d like

Yes please! Dont want to unsettle it. Let me try my best!

Edit: thank you!

I really do wonder what % of FOI requests are caused exclusively by this and the CR2 forum lmaooo

those are strips are for formation flight at night

They need to reintroduce it closer to the way radars work for PIRATE. Then it’s just a question of heat emissions which aren’t they already modelled for IR seekers?

No, it doesn’t use the Doppler effect to filter out clutter, which is what makes notching possible

Oh btw @MiG_23M i remember you didn’t believe typhoon could accelerate into super-cruise:
“The Eurofighter Typhoon can also accelerate into the supersonic range with no afterburner and fly at supersonic speeds for long periods of time. Only a few fighter aircraft in the world currently have this capability, known as “supercruise.””

Dear god not that again xD

Nah we covered this but it doesn’t meet his own proprietary definition.

Non primary sources aren’t relevant and the consortium will need to explain how newer fighters “super cruise” is actually better than previous ones at some point. Gaijin is already on my side, they know it was a marketing stunt.

According to you, what jets can actually super cruise? Just f-22, su-35, su-57 and rafale?

Anything that can maintain supersonic flight with the throttle in the cruise position. F-22 is clearly the breadwinner, capable of 1.5 mach in cruise or 1.8+ mach in mil thrust without afterburner.
