Imagine Germany gets SPICE250 before Israel.
That would be fun.

I just finished researching the Rafale. After unlocking the MICA, I’ve been averaging 4 kills per match. I really don’t get why this jet is in the same BR as the Eurofighter… It’s kind of sad.
What are you saying, Eurofighter isn’t as good?
he’s saying the rafale is too good to be at the same br as the eurofighter
As someone with both, I know full well which 14.0 I’d choose to bring into ARB
This video is in Spanish and was uploaded a few hours ago.
A Eurofighter test pilot from the Air and Space Force’s Logistics and Experimentation Center emphasizes that the inner pylons 4/9, which are the same as pylons 2/10, have the specific designation “hardpoints”. These pylons are capable of carrying all types of air to air and air to ground weaponry. Therefore, there is no reason to continue denying the air superiority configuration that allows air-to-air missiles to be mounted on the aforementioned pylons, providing the capability to carry up to 10 air to air missiles or even 12 if double missile are fitted on pylons 2-3/10-11.

In british documents during testing though it says the max is 10 missiles, 6 ir and 4 arh
We know from the classified doc that pylon could carry AA ordonnance and the pylon that’s used is multifunctional from non classified docs, doesn’t mean it’s done operationally.
There’s probably reasons why it’s not done (radar can guide 6 arh at once for example) but that doesn’t mean it’s impossible.
This pilot interview just further serves as evidence that it could be possible.
Also the Typhoon simply hasnt been deployed in that capacity yet. All of its operational sorities have been A2G where those pylons were needed for A2G weapons. All of its other deployments, like QRA and air policing would favour a lighter load.
Plenty of examples of war time loadouts that would not normally be done in peace-time.
Such as the FRS1 getting double rack Aim-9Ls immediately following the end of the Falklands with NAS809 returning the Islands to maintain CAP over the islands. Sea Harrier FA2 followed suite and loadouts that should be possible like twin rails + BOL was likely not done just because it was never needed. Tornado F3s I think weren’t outfitted with BOL or Phimat until Op Granby (though dont quote me on that)
Even on the Typhoon the double racks are rarely used in the current operations.
Seems like this is the limit, I’ve never seen an actual load of more than 6 amraams on an eurofighter in pictures or anything like that, even those those docs it doesn’t say if its actually wired for firing amraams or not, just that theyre able to carry them
This is likely the above.
As for the Doc itself, doesnt necessarily mean it cannot, but rather for some reason the RAF doesnt want to use that loadout, most likely its an airframe maintenance thing.
Not entirely certian what “AWX role” is. I think it might be “All-Weather-Fighter/interceptor” (based on Complete List Of Over 21,000 UK Military Abbreviations) If that is the case. Then this loadout might be optimised for QRA/air policing.
Though given it also mentions ALARM, a weapon never actually intergrated iirc, is probably kinda old and things may have changed with the introduction of Meteor.
its old
Missed that, so yeah, this is before it even entered service then.
So I think i’ll stand by my current guess.
Those pylons can be used for AMRAAM/METEOR but simply hasnt for various operational or peacetime reasons.
Though if anyone is at RIAT this weekend and wants to go ask the pilots for an interview… :P
A certain tech mod is…
So maybe…
Here is a video of a supposed MiG-23 test pilot claiming that the Gsh-23 can fire NATO 20mm rounds. I guess they should be interchangeable in the game?
Oh wait… word of “experts” isn’t used for bug reports… wonder why.
remember when some guy claimed f-22 can sustain almost 30 degrees a second at like 28k feet, its why military experts cant be taken serious
The exact same thing has happened with the MICA missiles and the Rafale CF3, so why was the capability to carry up to 8 MICAs added, but not with the Eurofighter? There is no irl evidence of the Rafale CF3 carrying 8 MICAs.
There is, both with the software and a stand of DGA alongside Dassault with such a configuration.
Share a real life image of a Rafale carrying 8 MICAs, when I see it, I’ll believe you. Otherwise, it’s the same situation as with the Eurofighter
Hearing some of the “claims” that constant peg pilots have made are truly amazing
There is also the one individual on youtube who insists the MiG-21/23 dont have oil pressure guages/fuel gauages ect despite them being right infront of him in the cockpit…
