Eurofighter Typhoon (UK versions) - Technical data and discussion (Part 2)

😉

if we go by technical compatibility you guys might be able to get 6 AARGM-ER

wait we finaly getting MMW ? something to fight gajin on then i guess

like i said regular AARGM is what the EF´s should be getting at best

im just saying it is a possibility

Gaijin could add it without MMW and add MMW later just like they did with MITL for AGM-84H and other weapons with MITL

didnt sebbos source literaly say er to be integrated on efts?

no, its the only source that claims that, germany has only tested AARGM and is only procuring AARGM. Afaik nothing was said about getting AARGM-ER
Refer to:

wouldnt matter either way, as part of the future Eurofighter family system upgrade the integration of the AARGM automaticaly means the integration of the ER as well

in case you arent aware what i am talking about

I’d LOVE to see the quadriplegic AGM-88C as modelled in-game hit targets 90deg or more to the side of the launch aircraft as indicated here lmao might finally be the source that allows us to buff the HARM’s pull tho. Thats primary, and there is atleast 1 secondary and 1 secondary/tertiary source stating the AGM-88 is capable of hitting targets behind the launch aircraft at the cost of significant range reduction

Hint: AGM-88C can't even hit a target 30deg off-bore at 10km in-game atm, it simply can't pull enough...

As is, 90deg off-bore at any range is a fever dream...

that thing looks like a massive asraam

@Smin1080p_WT Will a new Brimstone variant such as the Brimstone 2 SAL come this year?

Or actually modeling MMW seekers instead of “We can’t do it because reasons that apply to other missiles with a rapid closure rate and flawless iog already in game”.

We both know mmW is a lost cause argument and that they will keep defending saying it’s op, so the least we can hope is laser guidance but with an upgraded motor

The infamous pitch axis wobble at high alt.

It’s funny how they get to their conclusions. Usually they go like “Muh, small control surfaces means minimal pull”, but the AGM-88 has such big control surfaces that, according to their belief, it should be able to pull two 360° circles with a still burning motor, but instead it is totally anemic for whatever reason lol

Is the first Typhoon worth crewing or should i just skip it and get the AESA one? Asking here because I’ve heard Captor M had some issues back when first released. Is it just classic mechanical radar jankiness or more than that?

Yeah, Brimstone 1 is now obselete with how strong air defences are these days, extra range will help that massively

Either that or model MMW and make Multispectral smoke (ones with Chaff) standard across the game, like they did for IR Obscurant

TBH i just use the brimstones to distract the aa so my alarms can actually reach them. Fire off 9 brimstones then let loose my 6 alarms. most of the time ill only need 3 brimstones and 2 alarms for most spaa apart from the smv where i fire EVERYTHING. Although for the most part ill see them just straight j out instead of doing the smart thing and just turning off their radar… The iq of these players gotta be bellow room temp.

The ECRS Mk2 is really awful. Why can’t it even maintain a datalink on an aircraft flying straight? Is it an issue with the TWS ESA scan period, or is there something wrong with TWS itself? get tired of using it.
