I mean it would’ve helped more for sure. But doesn’t help news outlets are taking statements about Step 0 and Step 1 of the Mk1 and just autotranslating to Mk0 Mk1 in their minds.
Does PIRATE use laser for ranging?
AFAIK it uses something called “streaming vectors” which demands a certain chain of maneuvers from the pilot to extrapolate/triangulate the distance to and the movement direction of the target. No laser involved.
Ohk, How about IRST21?
No idea ^^
Alr, but thanks for the info on PIRATE!!
the step stuff really doesnt help lmao step 0, step 1, step 2 are all things that are ordered
Which is quite ironic given I think Britain was the first to actually use the gun in anger
Would love a Tranche 2 twin squadron vehicle at 12.7 (or “Tub” as they’re sometimes called)
They’re capable of pretty much everything a single seater can do - I suppose gaijin could do some loadout changes to make it balanced at 12.7 for GRB (though the SU-30 at 12.3 is laughably under BR’d)
A pair of 9Ls is all it would get at that BR.
I reckon we’d see it at more like 14.3 with the full loadout of the M-Scan.
Doing the event in the EFT is just sad without the sound mods. Just sounds so much better with RCSM and IASM
The sound mods made my game crash, I had to uninstall them even before the yesterday’s announcement, the game was literally freezing every 5 seconds, and it surely wasn’t a pc issue.
I hope they fix these once and for all.
I didn’t have any issues. That’s weird
I read from Stona that it was causing that, I guess I was one of the unlucky ones lol.
Want to read something good as an Ace Combat fan?
Spoiler
Ace Combat 8 launches October the 2nd and it seems to include the Ace Combat game “Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War” from 2006 in a ported version for PC as a pre-order bonus :D
I kinda hope this signals that they will either port or better remake the remaining earlier Ace Combat games for PC and current gen consoles.
Oooooooh…
Rot Squadron Skins - here we come…
didst thou bug reporteth the abomination?
I did yes :)
What are the odds of the typhoon getting the proper HARM varient with the next patch
50/50
Images and documentation of ALARM on the Typhoon and the EKs are planned to get AGM-88Es.
Which basically places the ball in Gaijins court. The one thing going in our favour however is that we are still missing our principle A2G weapons, so the necessity of getting ARM is at least there to a degree
