See and TWS track every enemy in a 50 km radius so you can fire a missile and guide it via DL while being in a perfect notch? :D
Exactly the problem of War Thunder, the radars are probably also used defensively so one can expect to have some kind of interfacing system (360 degree HMD maybe, displaying radar contacts, sorted between missiles and enemy aircraft), this could allow for much greater situational awareness, think MAW + RWR but you know the exact position of the missile at all times. Not to menton that we are still lacking any kind of useful ground scan modes…
People are sleeping on the F-35 in air RB it will be very strong in both Stealth and “Beast mode”
Performance is not that critical when Gaijin have shown they tweak air spawn in speeds.
Radar will be incredible and with Meteor or 120D in air it will be strong.
In ground battles it will be the best jet in the game.
German/T5 Typhoons are moving to the SAAB Arexis defensive system. No way we will have any public data on that.
i know, kinda weird since evoDASS is also a thing
More so it will be impossible as we already have limited info on the current system :(
I dont understand some of the decisions made by some Typhoon operators
unless they know something about evodass that we dont
I thought maybe they plan to integrate the SAAB system on other airframes?
But F-35, Typhoon and soon to be retired Tornadoes
Its an interesting one
AMK is a pre-requisite to a bunch of the stuff included in P4E so I expect it would come very soon after 2030, certainly closer to 2030 than 2040.
None of what you said is actually true though or relevant? What’s in-game is not the prototypes but instead the future variants of the Eurofighter. IPA07 is not what the Germans have in-game, and in fact it has been rejected for the German Eurofighter to have it be named or modeled explicitly as IPA07.
This is also why the AMK kit report is being applied to all Eurofighters as P4E is intended IRL for all Eurofighter nations in-game. It is also why Smin has said that the Eurofighters are receiving the planned radars of their future variants, not the tested radars.
You are ignoring that the AMK is an after service kit, that can be installed on all Eurofighters, regardless of tranche
I have no doubt what you said is true, but it still begs the question of what exactly is acceptable, where the line is drawn, etc.
And when/if the actual variants come into service with proper naming, can it even be added as a separate vehicle if the current Eurofighter-AESA is intended to be a catch-all for all future upgrades?
you know gaijin, AMK is a mod that brings a lot of stuff and future potential so its very likely to be a new phoon that comes with it
also i dont think theyll correct the naming anytime soon
I’m not ignoring that, I’m well aware that the AMK kit can even be done on “mechanical eurofighters”, but the report is explicitly being done to only AESA Eurofighters presumably because it is coming IRL for P4E variants, so none of this “prototype” points you made is relevant.
I just see the 3 AESA Typhoons evolving over time, there isn’t really any point to adding a new AESA Typhoon anytime soon.
When the official names are known, Then they’ll probably be bug reported and the 3 in-game will receive new names.
When IIR are added they’ll get them, the Mscans probably won’t.
I can see them getting meteor at the same time as 5th gens are added to balance them out and keep them competitive
If they need an FM buff (beyond just fixing the outstanding bug reports) then AMK could be put on the table.
Then they’ll be a load of stuff to consider if/when EW/ECM is added in their configuration.
So I think it’s just a non-issue.
I think the only actual question is whether the German AESA should be modeled as one of their core EFTs or as one of their EKs (i.e Arexis)
the EK should be a seperate Aircraft since its like that IRL
The question really comes down to whether or not there is enough to justify it beyond it just being a different name, and that really comes down to how they choose to model EW/ECM. If it all gets standardised and there is no actual difference between the Typhoons and say the Gripen E (another Arexis user) then is it worth it?
If it does get modeled as meaningful different, then worth it.
Loadouts could also play a part, but at the moment its just C&P between them all.
the fact that germany will operate normal T4´s alongside EF EK T4´s is enough imo for now
while the EF EK´s will be upgraded at somepoint to realise EF EK step 2 the normal T4´s should also get upgraded under LTE and P4E
A few years ago, that would have been fairly normal to add. Thinking something like FGR2 and FG1 Phantoms, But these days, they tend to only add meaningful different vehicles to the TT, unless the difference is making them premium, event or SQV. So the Ek might end up as a premium
it’s already modeled since the f-117 got added, it’s very effective against fox 3 seekers and lower end (for range) aesa radars like the f-18, rafale, etc
