Why would anyone use Sniper Pod over Lightening IV on EFT?

They will also go with IRIS-T by the looks of it, maybe they buy ASRAAM as well.

maybe if gaijin gave us a SAL Brimstone 2 or 3 then we would actually want to extra zoom

But we are STILL stuck with the absolute worst possible iteration of Brimstone

If they normalised IR Obscurant in smoke, couldn’t that normalise Multispectral smoke to protect against MMW? and if they don’t we really want extra range for the Brimstone now there is much more powerful SPAA

Fun fact, all top tier tanks have the capability for multi spectral smoke, particularly nations who will almost always either face GB or Italy and Germany.

The continued nerf of the Brimstone needs to end.

There is the debate to be had that with “faithful” modeling, the Brimstone would ignore those CMs IRL.

But, when has that ever stopped Gaijin when it comes to weapon modeling. There are primary docs for massively buffing both Aim-9Ls and Aim-9Ms resistance to flares for example. Or the entire state of BOL

I’d say it’d be worth it if it means we can get F&F

I 100% agree.

But Gaijin seems to have taken the stance that the Brimstone is either 100% accurate or its not added at all. Which just feels… unfair

Lets be honest here when Aim-9L was first added it was ignoring the flares even if you cut down half of your throttle.

I remember back in the day that missile was absolute nightmare to face and I abused it a lot when I was using my shiny new F-16ADF, still their current performance is rather lackluster and can definitely see some improvements.

I do miss slapping the living hell out of Mig-21s in the Harrier Gr7 in SB.

But all they need to do is make it so that 9Ls ignore flares if the target is on reheat, and I would be happy. Throttle down, not much changes

Amen to that.

Yeah, when I first added it, the 9L identified itself as a 9X Block 2 xD

Yeah, good old times.

RAF Typhoons from 11 Squadron based at RAF Coningsby arrive at Dukhan Air Base in Qatar to support in the region. 11 Sqn will work alongside 12 Sqn during their time in Qatar. Additional typhoon jets have arrived in the Middle East, further strengthening the UK’s defensive capabilities in the region. The UK is conducting air operations in defence of British interests and allies.

And Exercise Agile Warrior 26

During the two-week exercise, air and ground units across multiple RAF stations will train under contested, degraded and operationally limited conditions, simulating the effects of cyber-attacks, long-range precision strike threats, and persistent attempts to disrupt UK air operations.

What is the probability of Turkey mounting AMRAAMs on the inner pylons?

Zero to none because they didn’t even acquired the Typhoons, let alone making modifications on them.

??, oh you mean they don’t have them yet, yeah sure.
