Eurofighter Typhoon (UK versions) - Technical data and discussion (Part 2)

Thank you, that’s all I could ask for :)

This is the most convoluted aircraft to try and understand anything about, every unit feels like a completely different aircraft from one another.

If you think EFTs are bad you should take a look at the F-16 or Flanker family lol

Any chance you can take a look at this one as well? Community Bug Reporting System

Btw, I asked the BAAINBw about if more Spices would be possible, answer:
This Information is Secret…

That somehow doesn’t suprise me at all

Yep, but was an try worth :P

I mean, they will tell us that they’ve installed AESAs on aircraft but not if those aircraft are EFTs, despite the EFT being the only one that even has the capability. The chances that they’ll tell how many of a weapon it can carry that hasn’t been seen in active service yet was always nill😂

Funfact, there would be another plane which can mount it

Snail, when A320?

Yep, but that one doesn’t belong the the BW and isn’t operated by them either (afaik) and the BW specifically talked about multiple radars

The most situationally aware A320 on the planet.

Imagine some F35 doing a training flight and getting RWR pings from a eurofighter, but command knows nothing about any allied eurofighters in the area

They should 100% give it Meteors for the funny so we could get it as dreams come true in WT

An addition:
The British ECRS Mk.2 test bed is cuter

Did the scan rate go back to 250°/s? I tried playing and it didn’t feel as slow as I thought it would be. Maybe it’s because I’ve been using CAPTOR-M for so long lol.

Nope. still 190.

Ive encountered an interesting issue which im fairly certain should not be happening.

Im stock in the AESA-Phoon, 100% stock, so i have some bombs to do some base bombing to help grind out some of hte mods. But base bombing is an extreme chore because it keeps locking the PIRATE camera onto targets detected by the AESA, which then enables CCRP. Manually placing a CCRP target is instantly overriden as well, which im fairly certain should not be the case.

So you have to switch the radar off to base bomb

I find the F-16s and Su-27/30s much easier to distinguish between since they follow a progressing designation scheme, than the Eurofighters that seem to give up at the beginning and halfway depending on the nation that fields them.

I think ive just gotten a golden Rear-aspect IRCCM failure clip for you:

About 5:15 minutes in

Or heres a clip of the replay

But the AIm-9M behaved like I would have expected an Aim-9L and not an Aim-9M to behave, the seeker clearly did not switch off and instead switched to the flares

Gamelog saved if you want it
