CM disclosure made no mention of new air-to-air, air-to-ground or new EW systems, AESA is amazing don’t get me wrong, but how is that gonna change the meta by itself…

There’s no need for new systems, if they wanted to change the meta they’d just gut MP

Who knows, maybe even those legendary twin AIM120 pylons as well.
But yeah I find it a bit disappointed that they don’t step up the A2A missile game. We’ve had mostly 1.5 year of the exact same META at top tier, when before they switched a bit faster between radar and IR missiles rework (R27ER excluded)

It will be funny.
2x the amount of a mid missile still gives mid results. Or the F18s would be at a higher BR than they currently are (even with their equally mid flight performances)

Amount is an important factor, i do quite well in the F-18/C purely because of that reason, just shoot at every person in range and put pressure on them.
While on the EF i don’t even do BVR anymore they’ll dodge it anyway, if you do bvr you need to have a degree to analyze and find the player that’s turned their brain off and kill him.
Yes I’m citing the same materials and it’s frames as less than 1 second, but we can’t work with such statements in game so 1 second it is.

Having this amount of missiles only helps capitalize on people with less experience or that carry similar missiles but in lower quantity.
I haven’t played much top tier, been grinding with friends using the mirage F1C, and even in the constant uptiers (12.0 is basically f18 12.7 BR), the F18 have never really been a threat (granted they only fire one missile at a time).
On the other hand a su30sm, rafale can effectively fire at you while in a notch with the IRST → MEM lock → missile off bore gimbal launch, so they don’t really feel said pressure. It’s just night and day performances
I haven’t played top tier since last update, so I don’t have the feeling of how many f15c are flying around. Tho I can expect that with EFT update there will be a majority of EFT flying around as well and they’d all carry the same armement

Hard to tell with the video presented, but its tracking two targets either side of boresight in 0.2 seconds, so with a +/-60° FoR, about 600°/s I’d ballpark it at.

About the same as ECRS (while both brand new AESA) feels like it makes sense.

i think that it rather is that the other aesas ingame are underperforming instead of the ECRS and the f35 being a massive leap in technology
