FGR4 doesnt get the GBU-48s unfortunately. I can see some value for 1000lb GPS weapon for ASB, but for some reason Gaijin wont add the ePaveway II (currently missing from the GR7, GR4 and FGR4)
think its in the files and has been for over a year now
The issue Ive always found with the GBU-62 is that I think the CCIP treats them like regular bombs, but I think I could drop them from far further If i wanted, but I have no real way to judge if they are in range or not. Though Tpod range limits probably mitigate that issue if dropping from any height
I mainly enjoy flying multirole missions in sim, even though the game mode itself doesn’t really encourage that kind of gameplay. I try to make the most out of the Eurofighter’s capabilities, even if they’re limited by the lack of HUD/HMSS/MFD data and missing weapon systems
Yeah, I try to do that as well, but between the speed of the aircraft at that BR and the tiny map sizes. It just feels all to fast. If I want that kind of gameplay, I usually just run the T10 instead. Just a shame as the HMD in the Typhoon is awesome.
One of the most fun I ever had in the Typhoon was a GSB match where the enemy team just never even tried to challenge me. No SPAA, no CAP. Only a single late game Su-34 which was easily defeated. That was rather fun, proviidng proper CAS to my team.
i know why gaijin gave those pylons to the 27 and 30 but i dont know what sources they used (or if if they have any)
the 27 didnt do so well after fox-3s were added so gaijin looked for an easy way to buff it, that dosent involve fixing/changing the FM and/or the 3d model so they gave it the double pylons and better engines
and then they gave the 30 the double pylons to create an incentive to grind it bc in itself the 27 is better for BVR, thats why they also added the r77-1
the Su-27 is a kinda 27SM3 with its missile count and engines but it has an incorrect 3d model to be so otherwise the avionics and missile ammount is the same (the 27SM3 recived 2 extra wing pylons)
well enough off topic rambeling from my side for now
They don’t use the same launchers, and for your later posts JAGM-MR is still in testing and it’s only for the heli style quad racks, and not the fixed wing quad ejector racks the JAGM-F uses (BRU-61)
