Egg
@Gunjob do you know if with the coming update we can hope for fixes on the Cockpit front?
Or would it be wasted time?
So. Dev season here. My Typhoon requests are:
- Overhaul the cockpit, HMD and MFDs
- Continued improvements to the radar
- Massively upgrade the A2G performance
- BOL overhaul.
it’s so disgusting
had a thought, does this mean NCTR should be displayed in HMD as well.
in the video info seems to be from datalink, not nctr
Or what I mean at least is that the contact’s ID is able to be displayed in the HMD.
For IFF like in the video, its DL. But that could also perhaps apply to radar contacts in the HMD
in that case it probably should, considering that pilots have stated that all info is also dispayed on the hmd. maybe someone could get a report up on it
Yep, would be nice if the target info was just in the HUD or HMD without having to look at the small text on the MFD
Yep, jesus, HMD IFF/NCTR would be Nuts
#GIB
Typhoon should be the ultimate QoL bus, but just feels less user friendly that a lot of older aircraft we already have half the time
Hey, I come from an F-4F ICE, its allready an upgrade in nearly every way xD
Except the ability to make jokes about the Rafale/F-4F ICE Incident xD
yeah, exactly this. This would be awesome in ASB
Hey, I would be allready happy wirh an actuall HUD which isnt stretched and UV-FILTER xD
You ask for too much
Also slightly later in a SA-6 sequence shows that symbols should also be seen through cockpit itself, so symbology of a plane under you, be my guest.
Can’t wait till DASS can paint a big arrow to guide me into the notch and auto chaffs on RWR contact as well instead of only chaffing when the MAW sees the missile.
We should also be able to see missile position in the HMD too, the main benefit of DASS having AESA sensors is constant, accurate position of incoming missiles, and the information can be displayed to the pilot. However this may be entering Striker II territory so I’ll try find a source. But if we had DL IFF and MAW in the HMD, the typhoon would be incredible
