Genuine question, does anyone care to use Q and E for rudder control? for actual live match maneuver
Stall manoeuvres. Wouldn’t really put myself into that situation in typhoon but almost all the time at prop br and early jets.

Could do what i do and have 1 and 2 be used to give wasd and so on more functions, an example would be my airbrake being 1+2 and my mclos missile control being 1+wasd. Ive set my radar controls to 2+x.
Its allowed me to have all my controls in reach of my left hand as my hands do not reach from one side of the ky board to the other unlike some freaks i know. Only thing is, you rely entirely on muscle memory as i couldnt name half my key binds by heart.

As far as I know, a change or bug has been implemented on the dev server where targets outside the scan area are now removed from the cycle pattern when using cycle target switching.
This is a critical update that significantly worsens the gameplay experience for aircraft equipped with wide-angle radars, such as the Eurofighter, Su-30SM2, and Gripen E.
I would really like to know whether this change is an intended feature change or simply a bug.

Idk, I still switch to OBS targets normally due to track-mem…maybe you should switch to them more often to keep the track-mem…I’m abusing Typhoon FGR.4 not AESA.

Alt 1 switch TWS,Search,PD HDN
Alt 2 switch Radar/IRST
Alt 3 switch bore sight grid size
Alt 4 switch radar search range
Alt WASD radar gimble
Alt Q switch radar target
Alt E lock target (but I changed to scroll wheel pushing)
I still don’t know if Cyclic radar target switching need a button or not.
This issue on the dev server and is not happening on the live server, which is currently open to regular clients.
They meant to tweak the control to test the vehicles capabilities usually the player’s reaction time and weapon specification to draw a performance chart then start from there :)
Seriously, this dev server has like three terrible radar-related changes, and I really wish they would stop. It’s honestly garbage. It’s better than TWS+, but it’s still garbage.
For the rafale at least, the rudder authority at low speed is kinda wonky, so I do use them quite often (below 400kph)
The instructor generally seems to have a problem with “induced oscillations” as there seems to be no dampening implemented in the code. It’s very obvious in the A-10 on landing and take-off.
My friend still uses alt f to lock onto planes with radar and i found that kinda disgusting ngl, i use middle mouse button for that. Nice, simple, stops me from fat fingering some random key and dropping my missiles (has happened to me before).
Got me killed quite frequent at 12.0 FGR.2
