Eurofighter Typhoon (UK versions) - Technical data and discussion (Part 2)

What are the odds of the typhoon getting the proper HARM varient with the next patch

50/50

Images and documentation of ALARM on the Typhoon and the EKs are planned to get AGM-88Es.

Which basically places the ball in Gaijins court. The one thing going in our favour however is that we are still missing our principle A2G weapons, so the necessity of getting ARM is at least there to a degree

true i mainly meant if we actually get agm 88e or if they give us some earlier version and just call it there

Id imagine we’d get ALARM if they didnt add AGM-88E but wanted it to still get an ARM

i expect EFT to get ALARM since the AGM-88E uses a MMW terminal seeker and GPS/INS to get around radars turning off. the best HARM that might be added is the 88F which uses an improved GPS/INS to be more accurate and deal with radars turning off

also i feel youd remember but does the GR1 get access to ALARM or just the gr4?

HARM is far too late. If a Pantsir SV can shoot down every missile HARM is not going to solve that.
Yet Skysabre, Iris T and other multi vehicle SAMS that cannot move and shoot will likely die more frequently.

Leaving Western nations at even more at a disadvantage.

The Kh-31 is appearing, so do we need to confirm how Gaijin handles ramjets?

Yeah whole 2 lol

Eh… Still better than none, Depending on hardpoint and what they add to ARB/ASB thats an extra 2 ai kills per match

Are the HARMS even adapted already IRL onto EFTs?

RIP Typhoon Flares

They nerfed it did they

64 > 32. making BOL realistic would be nice…
