Radar is not as bad as you claimed to be, tho it can definitely use improvement.
Idk about this, i had so bad experiences with the radar that i usually just turned it off and used HMD
It is indeed that bad imo /experience
On narrow scan it actually works pretty fine but still need improvements nevertheless.
Yeah narrow scan is fine but not if you want to guide mutliple ARH missiles over long distances to multiple spread out (or currently spreading out) enemies. It’s still an M-Scan after all, so small TWS sectors with very subpar reliablilty is crippling it’s intended functionality.

Radar is still infinitely better than say the Mirage 2000-5F which is at the same BR (tho with MICA).
I still find the argument of the « almost unusable » radar* quite silly to this day
Mirage is 14.0. m-Scan phoons are 14.3
Ah fair enough idk why I thought it was 14.3 (and it would make sense to me)
Now thats a lie, i love the mirage 2k radar, only problem it has is limited vertical but the scan rate and its ability to pick up targets is fantastic.
The RDY is a good radar. Captor is a better radar. Calling the captor almost unusable when I do just as fine as you with the RDY is silly. That’s my point
Foxhunter (F3) and Blue vixen (Gripen and FA2) are definetly more consistent radars than the CAPTOR-M at the moment
it be like saying the APG-70 and AWG-9 are more consistent then APG-63(v1)
Am i meant to just learn american radar names? Like i have no clue what any of these are lol.
it is a quite accurate comparison
I just hate tws on the rdy, for some reason it’s only 1 line/bar instead of like 2-5 like on most other radars
Thats one of the positives ironically as it has a much faster scan rate because of it, as unlike the rest it doesnt go over the top and bottom line twice before repeating its sweep (which is stupid and should have been fixed long ago).
it has been fixed
After it was wrong (and reported) for over a year ^^
? Theres no way i just haven’t noticed that man… no, no i am that oblivious.
