when the update is live, can someone let me know if they do any last minute radar changes like they did on the j10c? im conking out
its radar got nerfed (or fixed) it has an azimuth coverage of ±70* instead of ±85*

Yup, saw that. Not quite what I intended by that statement but hey at least our radar is the best at something lol
AIM-9M broken again… Shot from 250 meters behind a MiG-29. MiG-29 starts flaring the moment the missile is 150 meters behind it and the AIM-9M starts wiggling into the direction of the flares before going back to the target. Still hit it but it was very close… This behavior equals the R-60(MK).
Additionally the MiG-29 didn’t maneuver at all and was flying in a straight line as its tail controls were destroyed by gunfire before.

So much more situational awareness and AMRAAMs seem to be hitting more, maybe due to DL from the new radar
Yeah I noticed they have more energy in terminal for BVR shots now. 100% has to be the better corrections from the radar resulting in less wasted energy.
I still want source information on how the Mk2 achieves 20° FoR more over the Mk1. Ridiculous really.

Mk1 and Mk2 are separate development so theres no such source.
Anything on the scan speed? AFAIK they did use the provided source to adjust the CAPTOR-M scan speed but refuse to use the same source (which states the speed in the same sentence) for the CAPTOR-E. Is that right?
I suspect you won’t find any sources on how the Mk2 achieves anything for another 40 years.
