Eurofighter Typhoon (UK versions) - Technical data and discussion (Part 2)

Nice, stock grind in ASB was a doddle once I got them unlocked. But the entire mod line now free is… interesting

ye, makes me wonder what they plan

Hopefully they are adding more new weapons because currently it’s still 326,000 RP for all mods on the ECRS Typhoons instead of 311,000 for the CAPTOR-M Typhoons. So really you have to grind more RP for the exact same mods even though there are fewer of them in total.
e.g. 9,000 RP for Litening III on the FGR.4, 11,000 RP for it on the FGR.4 ECRS, AIM-120C: 20,000 → 21,000 RP, etc.
RP multipliers are slightly more generous for the AESA Typhoons, but only 2.34% better in real terms, while mods are between 5 and 22% more expensive as things stand.

This is what Hendsoldt replied on their youtube, not my post btw. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hzYnxMxtJuk&t=)

I mean what else do they want in terms of sources? We are reaching classified territory and if you are not sure just make it balanced and give everyone the same stuff…

Considering they seem so determined to balance all the weaponry on the Typhoons it seems odd that they refuse to balance their other capabilities

I’d personally rather each nation only received the equipment and weaponry they have used/will use in service with each respective nation but it doesn’t look that thats a possibility anymore.

And the wide rotating Field of View, enables an earlier and larger turn AWAY from the threat while still guiding its missile successfully

can you get away from something which is going your direction at less than 90°?

89° the enemy would still come closer
90° distance would be the same
91° and higher you would get AWAY from the threat

Fixed: scan changed to 182x182

Except. It can do exactly that with 90

To late, allready hit that

they fixed the rectangular radar indicator

Huh why’s elevation smaller than azimuth in terms of max deflection in degrees

Error, soon to be fixed.

If the Meteor AAM is to be implemented, think it could be mounted on the TMC? If the AMRAAM is not a problem, it seems like it would be compatible with the Meteor as well?

Meteor is quite a lot bigger and heavier than the AMRAAM, so I doubt it

Gripen E looks to get HUD tint on release (not a huge issue just think its funny that Typhoons are still waiting)

The are literally around the same size

Meteor just has intakes that makes parts of it a little wider

is there any non-realistic stuff that Eurofighter may get if it will go same way of realism as rusian su-30sm2?

Not just a little wider tho. They take a lot of place in general, although there’s only 2 of them
