Yes, they are spear
I just got reminded about SPICE 250 that EFT could potentially carry so hopefully…
no idea what that is but p neat

I wish amraams could be fired beyond their gimbal limits, even tho they don’t pull that much, it would still be nice to send them off in a notch with the new radar.
Hello guys, I have released a new skin if you are interested. This is a complete redo of my previous versions, more accurate color shading, more labels, better quality, better weathering
The EF-2000 IPA7 98+07.
clean
Splendid work.
With a new radar I would be experimenting with ground modes a lot. Because from what I’ve already tried (one of those experiments slaved a brimstone up my ally’s ass) it could be very functional, especially if NCTR would be a thing. But already it allowed me to make passes at 5-10m of alt. Wanna see how it would be with a functional radar. Updated brimstones would be perfect as well ofc.
Doesn’t Brimstone 3 have all of that plus a proxy fuze? I’d rather take the 3 for the heli infestation meta.
Just anything except Brimstone 1 would be nice. I’m not too sure specifically about the specs of 2 versus 3
Its already in-game. We have a 200x15 scan mode, its awesome.
Its fast enough that you could use it normally quite happily. But the 90x30 would probably be my default most of the time
Could someone please retrieve the Leonardo documents that discuss the Mk0, since the ECRS Mk1 (Germany and Spain) uses a pivot or repositioner based on the Mk0 design, with a field of view exceeding 180 degrees (reaching 200°)
The base of the MK1 and MK2 is the MK0, and it has a swashplate that allows it to rotate, reaching 200°. Gaijin is simply saying that the MK1 doesn’t have this swashplate and is fixed, which is strange since they are a consortium.
Hensold states that the Mk1 has mostly the “old” Mk 0 parts and all of the mecanickal pivot parts, so the angles shoud be the same as the Mk 0.
Angle of the swashplate is likely the same, but the emissions from the radar antenna might not necessarily diverge at the same angle as the Mk.0.
Max Field of Regard for the radar will be the antenna beam divergence angle + antenna position angle
Issue: we know what is new, and thats the iffy part…
