Why would they be getting “Nails” when it is behind the Flanker?

what?

A random YouTube channel uploaded a TV show from Channel 4. Because Channel 4 is a British company and owns the copyright to that TV show they can tell YouTube to block access to that video in the UK (so that people have to watch it though Channel 4).

Therefore, the fact that GunJob cannot see the video proves that he is in the UK, rather than proving that he is not in the UK.

Ah I’ve got Channel 4 anyway so I’ll watch it there. Of course after I finish samurai jack and Venture Bros.

Based on the rest of the series it appears that’s either the radio or a made up sound but isn’t linked to the RWR.

Guys i think this source says the MAW of the Eurofighter (AMIDS) has IFF and NCTI auxiliary functions which means we could get universal IFF like Rafale and A10C. Big if true.

This is auto translated from an Italian magazine: www.giorgiociarini.it - Typhoon Technical Area

Also mentions up to 90km detection range against aircraft, i wouldn’t mind being a radar pinata for 360 awareness.

Sorry but that its meh tier. A slow pass with nose up. Even Fat Amy can pull that off.

The range figures appear to be copied from the German Wikipedia page which says they are just an estimate based on the MAWS antenna being about the same size as an ARH missile seeker.

So it’s an AESA radar MAWS?

As far as I know that’s not confirmed either way yet.

There really isn’t any information about those IFF and NCTR auxiliary capabilities the AMIDS has from what i searched, i wonder where that article/magazine got that info from and is it enough evidence to maybe get non-datalink/non-radar IFF
