Eurofighter Typhoon (UK versions) - Technical data and discussion (Part 1)

It is readily apparent why

It obviously wasnt readily apparent for everyone, why don’t you just say instead of making people guess

Intended I’d guess, they do the same irl, its to countersteer and stabilise the turn. Sort of like drifting

If you implicate to point at your comment about oil, pilot, ammo, etc. I have news for you:

Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe (CFE Treaty) of November 1990:
Empty weight means the weight of a vehicle excluding the weight of ammunition, fuel, oil and lubricants, removable reactive armour, spare parts, tools and accessories, removable snorkelling equipment, crew and their personal equipment.

How is this related to game’s “EmptyMass” code line?

This issue is brought up about the empty weight of every fighter coming to the game for the last 3 years. Welcome to history on repeat.

So… Exactly what I said?

Oil and lubricants includes the hydraulic systems and engine oils.

is it going to get double racked pylons for fox 3s or not ?

and one random question the tornado F3 or the F3 late have top 3 radar in the game for locking and finding targets with ez, and amazing SRC speed, is the Captor better at doing that ? or do we have to wait for the Captor E

Probably not but we’ll have to wait and see.

As for radar, In theory yes, based upon what I’ve read about what it can do, I would assume it would have a scan speed similar to fox hunter or the PESA radar on the Su-34. On the dev it was a placeholder, so very interested to see the changes they make. It should be a lot better than fox hunter in theory

The issue is the lack of concrete sources.

Captor-M is widely considered the best mechanical radar in the world and equal to many PESA radars

You seem to be implying that the empty weight in game being 300 kg too high is because of it including the:

Engine oil, hydraulic fluid, pilot, ammo, etc

That is not a valid explanation because Engine oil, pilot, and ammo all have their own masses in game and are added the empty mass, not included in it.

Going to be another fun update of F15E being top dog still.

Not really?

Typhoon easily matches or surpasses the F-15Es performance with the exception of 6 AMRAAM Vs 8

I didn’t have to wait long. The extra black on the back looks infinitely matte and flat, but it should be glossy. I hope this is due to the not-so-high graphics settings…

In your dreams perhaps. I do not believe for a second that the typhoon will not be gimped for release or shortly thereafter.

Unlike the Gripen. The national archives has information on the typhoon. Flame and Gunjob are geared for war. I would like to see them try.

The only thing in concerned about is the F-15E getting AIM-120C5s sooner rather than later

Lol, what do you mean by “another” and “still”? This will be the first patch after 15E was added (in which he was whined about different engines, because well, American kids can’t have less than the best toy?)

I don’t see any reasonable reason why Typhoon wouldn’t get them in the same patch.

I wonder if anyone’s doing a skin for the Eurofighter who won the Eurofighter v Bugatti race (ZJ920, ZJ911, and another which I haven’t yet identified were the ones involved in the shots for that episode)

heh, I also somehow doubt they’d get away with just giving them C-5s and no one else.

These are not complicated words, I’m sure a smart man like you can understand that the coming update is not the current update therefore is another update.

Just remember the US got Aim-9M equipped F-16s 3 months before we got the Gripen.

It should come to both, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it will
