Germany didnt fit pirate to the eurofighter. Its just going to be the second best plane in game so its not like Germany isn’t eating good still
germany, low key, got the worst variant :(
I know, I just thought it was funny that Germany keeps the tradition alive (even IRL).
The fun fact is, German tree is my most developed one, but I keep not bothering to start playing highrr tier jets (to learn missile combat and grind towards top tier), as playing Germany means getting worse aircraft, and with other techtrees I’m nowhere near top tier, so I’m not even bothering to start the grind.cause it’ll take ages to get there.
I guess I’ll just keep spamming Ta-152H throughout 2025 too, till one day it receives new FM and becomes unplayable.
I don’t see how IRST and LWR are relevant either in GRB or AIR RB. My Migs have IRST as well and after playing around a bit I never really used it over radar. LWR? What SPAA or Jet use Laser ranging or locking?
Imho the German EF will be the best one, cause it will evolve into T4, while all others will be stuck with what we get now (maybe minor upgrades).
Reminder that Typhoons were not compatible with Brimstones until Block 15
im with you on that, I turn my radars off and only turn them on to lock enemies to either fire a fox 3 or slave my fox 2 lock to it. unless you’re in sim or some situations in GRB you arent going to notice it. I would still prefer the option to use them tho
ADATS, and anything that has electro-optical tracking (so IFVs and such, particularly the 2S38 is worth noting)
I use full TWS and spamm 120’
No, they use optical contrast / IRST tracking. No laser illumination.
I’m very late, but I just wanted to express again how delightfully shocked I am that the game has reached this point :')
And how exactly are they getting the range to calculate the lead? Can’t laser rangefinding also be detected?
Finally, a new nightmare fighter for the Americans!
LRF is used to determine range at least IRL, maybe this isn’t modelled in-game
Ingame radar is used for range calcs. When I switch off radar and just use optical tracking or Irst you don’t get any range shown.
Stormer HVM is also often still used at top tier given how bad the ADATS is.
Btw, is the EF radar capable to detect / lock ground targets?
On vehicles that have radar yes. I’m talking about the vehicles without radar,
Yes, on Dev only moving targets, but definetly evidence it can track and even ID stationary targets irl
But radar was WIP. So we’ll have to see what it’s like on live
I remember watching a Hensold video where an EF detected ground targets and identified all contacts using an internal database.
Would be nice for GRB.
