They had some intresting desings though for example the MBB Lampyridae wich was shut down because of US meddling
Trust me I know, between the GlowWorm and the Mako, they had some very interesting designs, but none ever came to fruition/where outright cancled before the majority of German aviation was swallowed into AirBus
Argentine F-16s? Since Argentina is already the de facto subtree of Germany in ground, might as well be in air as well. And Argentina is getting deliveries of refurbished F-16 MLU (with AMRAAM) this year.

I thought at one point I came across a picture of a Eurofighter with 6 AMRAAM fitted at once (2 on the wing pylons). I thought this would be the best place to ask.
If anyone has it, (or can at least confirm/deny), I would greatly appreciate it.

hmm thats not integrated afaik
only the outer wing pylon supports a2a missiles currently for a maximum load of 8 missiles, 2 ir + 6 rf or 4 ir + 4 rf

Might’ve been shown on a DA airframe or static, more likely I am misremembering.
With regards to this picture is the dual pylon actually integrated do you know?
afaik no
though its the same with the static stuff, you can mount it to the aircraft and the electronics would work but there’s no integration with the software or fcs

FCS particularly I can imagine will have a meltdown considering how sensitive it is.

Whats your claim of integration based on? Cuz afaik theres little to no info on the actual pylon weaponry limits beyond weight, along with the argument that considering the roles western fighters have had over the ladt 30 years, there really hasnt been any reason for them to run FULL air to air, or air to ground loads (like the previously discussed 14 Meteor load, or the 18 brimstone one).

Interestingly, if this chart is to be believed, the wet pylon is rated for any weapons BUT AAM’s, which would be… odd…
14 meteor + 2 IR missiles also seems the most intriguing air to air load, both because its massive overkill, but also because it hints at double pylons for BVRAAM’s, on all but the dedicated IR wingtip stations. Both things we havent actually seen on any images afaik (therefore unlilely to come, but still interesting as theoretically there should be anything but cost and practicality during low intensity conflicts stopping it)

Been a while since I poked my head in this thread and I see a lot of thread derail from certain people claiming things about the eurofighter to paint it in a bad light without anything to back it up 🤣

ALARM is also a bit odd to have on there, because if I remember from Flame or Gunjob, ALARM was never integrated, although it was planned
