i mean even if we get another system. its likely a IRIS-T SLS system, the SLS still is restricted to 12km max.
Our next step would be the SLM, but high chances we get a 40km missle.

There is no other AIO system yet, the Boxer Mounted Iris-t would indeed be better, because it can elevate itself(more range) and could have 6 mounted at a time, but that will only be completed “by 2028”.
thats a concept drawing, it isnt known yet how many missles it will carry at once. could be more could be less. And the way is fired, the range factor will be minimal
Yeah it could look completely different anyway.
But launch parameters always contribute to range, the missile not having to turn itself upon launch will inevitably save energy and range.

Which is different from most range claims of 12km.

Tbf i assumed something like the Eagle 6x6 SLS would go to Germany. Its more likely imo for it to happen. Though i wouldn’t mind if the Eldemhet went to Sweden and the Eagle to Germany and the ACSV G5 went to both Sweden and Germany given its production. But realistically thats for gaijin to figure out, i have no interest in the well you dont deserve it argument given how annoying CAS is, if the nation has a decent claim for it then it would be best to go where it needs to even if multiple nations get it.
