Because only the Drop Tank pylon can hold it atm, and i think the landing gear would get in the way anyway.

Also there’s an image floating around comparing amraams and meteor acceleration over time on a graph, it basically shows the amraam having higher initial acceleration but meteor just sustains that acxerlstion for a long time. But idk where to look for it
