So it’s either doing what @Bundeswehr said and renaming it to a Tranche 3A aircraft, or do a 30 + 55 to keep it a Tranche 2.

As we have already explained it will not be renamed Tranche 3A
It seems TLG-31 did have some non Tranche 3s.

If my logic tracks
Tranche 2 spans 78 jets.
assume the first 26 werr delivered as block 8.
The next 26 as block 10
the last 26 as block 15
That gets us from thr 30+69 to 30+95 jets as newly delivered block 10s
31+16 is on this list as a Tranche 2

So do a 30 + 55 as it belonged to the TLG 73 and is a Tranche 2…

This is a different squadron. As I said above, the devs would like to keep it to the same squadron as the one in game.

See above. 31+16 is Tranche 2.
I am assuming that all those tranche 2 jets from squadron 31 were delivered new as block 15s
Can we take that as an no for the 30+55?
